I love that you didn't just throw in the advertisement for Clorox wipes, and that you actually did your own test to see if it worked. Too often, you tubers will put in these quick ads for their sponsors just to get the money. Good job.
Thanks! Standing behind the items we promote and establishing our own personal experience with them is very important to us.
+HouseholdHacker can you do a video on how to get rid of a hornets nest. Or if you already did one can you put link? Thanks:D
+HouseholdHacker the. grill hack thires a quicker way heat up the grill then get a onion and a fork and start scrubbing
+Jesus Rebollar El gallo del nuñes *there's*
I call bullshit. He did not use just one fucking wipe
I used to hate gardening, but then I grew a pear
🍐
L
ha, funny guy.
L for "L"ike
+Logan Abela That was incorrect spelling ;-;
Can not do the lemon hack, no sun in the UK ever.. Do you happen to have a cloudy version instead?
I live in Portland, OR so I understand your dilema. I've heard our weather is very, very similar.
Might wanna start living in the EU then. Beautiful weather there!
I know I live in Scotland. There isn't a lot of sun here apart from summer
Just use a good degreaser, same result and probably a lot faster.
lemon juice is used because it works like a bleach. Sunlight just makes it work faster. If you dont have enough time on your hands you can use stronger acids (but not too strong or your plastic will be foked). Idk you could try HCL if you mix it with water
Potatos, oil, salt, ARE WE MAKING FRENCH FRIES
The potato
Hey you! Person reading this! You're awesome, have a nice day
Thanks dad
The first hack is a grate one.
Get it
Yeah... I should have said that but my puns have gotten a bit rusty.
+HouseholdHacker was my pun well done
Medium-well
Stronk jokes

But will the nail polish remover help get rid of my student loans?
I was wondering if I could ask u a favor I was wondering if u could subscribe to my channel bc my mom got diagnosed with cancer and before she passes she wasn't me to get to 20 subscribers plz and I will subscribe to u
+Undertaker Fanatics2016 It'll be pretty fucked up if your just lying for subs.
+Opinionated Ass Person I'm not y would I joke like that my grandma just died of cancer a year ago would u subscribe to channel
Undertaker Fanatics2016 using the death of a loved one to get subs wow pathetic.
it will if you drink it.
Better, for your grill. At the end of the season, clean your grill well, put a thin layer of vegetable oil on the grates and wrap them in plastic wrap *before* you put them in storage. If you wrap them well, they won't rust.
***** If you bothered to prepare last year, this wouldn't be a problem now. Save yourself a potato, scrubbing, salt, and time. An ounce of prevention.
Use the normal Barbecue brush and salt works just as well.
+josh green I was like why a Patato????
bitchesaintshit buthoesntricks Atmospheric moisture will get in, anyway. The oil provides a barrier, preventing moisture.
Because most commercial scrub brushes sold for barbaques are too corse and are to big to get in everywhere. All the potato is is a cheap handle that the course salt can stick into to get into tight places. a nylon pad with some sort of handle will work just as well.
"Honey, what... What are you doing?"
"IM CLEANING THE DAMN GRILL"
"But dear, with a potato?"
"I AM A MAN, LET ME BE A MAN AND DO MY MANLY THINGS"
-briskly scrubs grill with potato with a crazed look in eyes-
Omg I never thought of the blender one! So cool!
Definitely gonna use the drill and brush hack.
I got rid of things I thought would never go away.
fantastic
This really IS truE It even got rid of my credit card debt.
Does it work on unsightly blemishes?
Scratches on the tub from the bolt will ruin your tub.
Nice placement
Fitting and not too dominant and put into a regular video, just how it has to be
Thanks! Appreciate that.
Forreal lol I'm even considering buying them. I have lung cancer so dusting sucks ass... If those actually work it would be awesome.
This is how more people should handle ads/product placement.
3:12 Beat the devil out of it, much better way.
glad I'm not the only one
+George D. aay
+J so funny i grew up with him
Best UA-camr who actually blends in advertisements so it isn't boring or irrelevant.
HOW HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THE BLENDER HACK... fail.
Wish I knew about this earlier when making nutribullet shakes
I use that hack all the time when i use the blender
My blender actually has it as an option, it tells you to in the manual xD
I would say too much water and soap.
You only need 1/4 water and 5ml of soap.
+Mandogy exactly but most people don't read the manuals lol
I use a very thick solution of salt & vinegar on the grill. Works great. When you're done, then coat it with oil.
Verified youtuber with 405k subs with 1 likes and no comments this is interesting..
Haha the drill one is good
I love how they show you natural solution options...
Some niffty little tricks in there...👍
Thanks for the share.😊
can I get clorox to sponsor me and send me one of their bleach bottles?
Ask Leafy
hisssssss
Yes my child.
^^^^^^ I'm dead
Okay
What a good Samaritan you are for making a *FREE* commercial for Clorox.
And you sneaked it into this video very slickly too.
2:36 i thought you were raising the middle finger 😂😂😂😂
You had me at the Clorox ad. Now, I want those dust wipes.
2:25 I'd use a cordless drill, just for safety
I love your life hacks, they're always innovative and original, not like the hacks that have been repeted a million times before.
my dad attached a wire whisk to a drill to make an electric mixer lol
That's amazing that he WHIPPED that idea out!
@@rickytorres9089 lmao
the transparency when it comes to the product placement is refreshing to see
Wait instead of the clorax sheets can we use a dryer sheet instead?
Came for the life hacks, stayed for the insane quality. I mean, you can see the dust floating near that window! 4K 60fps is amazing, oh great tips too.
kids in africa could have drunk that lemon juice.
+BMAN488877 is that a overwatch reference?
And you could of gotten a better education it's drank not drunk in that context
drank* lol
+MagesticMango dank*
If they were that hungry and thirsty, they'd eat each other and drink their blood.
Thanks for the info on the dust wipes. It accumulates like crazy on my shelves in my apartment.
any tips for cleaning those grease filters without dishwashers?
hot water and soap. the har should melt the grease and make it easier to scrub off
+GrandNecro I've tried that.. but some residue always remains
It's possible you have some stuff in there that needs some heavy duty scrubbing. A hot wash with soap should take care of 95% of the problem though.
the left over is negligible, but if you really want to clean it crazy clean (not needed), then soak it overnight in a lemon water mix like the container but don't bother putting outside ect
+J3TPILOT1991 thx! will try that today.
So I should use a potato and vegetable oil to clean my grill....
That's what we're sayin'.
+shamroz khawaja if you can afford a grill I'm pretty sure you can afford a potato
+amilicious lmao
Grow one.
you didn't dust the t.v area for four weeks...I haven't for three years! no kid.😱
You guys are not boring like other life hack people, you guys got one new subscriber
Don't put nail polish remover on your sneakers lol it has acetone in it which gets rid of the paint on them
So happy that you advertised the clorox wipes! I'm allergic to dust and it's a pain to clean as it just stays in the air. I'm definitely going to try them.
THANK YOU FOR CONTINUOUSLY HACKING MY LIFE!!
#respect
+Adolf Hitler your name reminds me of some one but don't know who?Trump maybe
OHH NOO WHAT'S GOING ON HERE
Jeez the shoe one works like a charm!
Thank you so much you helped me with a un-take-out-able stain i've been having for over a week now!
:)
I'd rather dip the paint brush in paint thinner and then beat the devil out of it.
*chuckle* That's the best part
Eh, why not both?
+KentSpain85 make sure you are using odorless or you'll be working by yourself.
Nice tips. However, on cleaning the grill grates, if I knew I would be reusing the coarse salt, I probably would've laid down a sheet of wax paper to collect the salt so I wouldn't worry about getting a splint from the table.
I totally line my fridge shelves with wax paper… SUPER EASY cleanup lol
I need those whips
do you want some nae nae's with them
+Marshall Patterson yes yes please lol I am such a bad speelor
aha, I'll have them both shipped within 5 business days
+Marshall Patterson I am now your first subscriber lol check my channel out please and get some vids on yours too.
DFKM, I will definitely check yours out though :P
Magic eraser would tackle two of these, but isn't as bad ass as the power drill scrubber. Love your videos
Hahaha people are gonna scratch their tubs with the nut and bolt on the brush.
Came in to mention this.
I can already see the incoming backlash from a couple of viewers crying about how they just chipped and gashed the white epoxy finish across their tub...
lmao
I Would glue the nut instead of drilling the brush.
A better "hack" would be to get a brush with a straight handle from the dollar store and chop off the handle to where the diameter is skinniest. Then shove it into a drill bit and use that. I need to start my own channel and call it HouseholdHacksThatActuallyWork.
+TraumaER Do it!
it's called don't put that much pressure cause the tips of the bristles are supposed to do the work not the whole bristle, do you use the whole paint brush to paint or just the tip? do you use the whole broom head to sweep or just the tip? it is called logic
thanks for the hacks, I actually use the Potato salt trick on my cast iron skillets, got burnt on stuff off without screwing up the seasoning on the pan to badly, I'm going to try those Clorox wipes, they look awesome
Are those Riker and Worf pops?!
O_o
lol
HouseholdHacker Those are awesome!
how old are you?
really liked the lemon trick on stained plastic food containers
"make sure to angle the potato"
These are great tips and money saving as well.
r u washing dishes in ur bath tub?
?
These seem like lovely hacks. I look forward to trying them!
just make sure not to get the shoes next to a spark!!!!☺ if you do this life hack otherwise.... shhhe your going to be in for a big fiery surprise!!!!!!!!!! and not a good one! yike!
Nice to see you're finally getting sponsors
I don't like the first one....
Taters gonna tate.
plz stop spoiling american horror story i just started that show
The wipes will be added to our inventory. We run a cleaning business and any advice is good. Black iron cookery seems to be a lost art. I have found that peanut oil stays well and penetrates the seasoning. It also keeps the flavor. The more that black iron is used, the more flavor it keeps adding. Both of my ex's put my old black iron in the dishwasher..... This is a major foul. Heat and oil keep the iron happy. Yes, you can boil, roast, braise, grill, and fry with the iron. Just clean and oil/grease. I tried your tater/salt method on some iron that were called lost.... It worked beyond my expectations!!!!!
im disliking because he has a ps4 as his gaming console instead of a pc
Stfu please
+Sly same
My PC is not hooked up to my TV center...
You actualy replied?
+BL Scratchoffs (Bob Le) I'm disliking because your channel is rubbish.
The drill is actually really good!!
I hear this guys voice all the time. More recently on training modules at my job.
That blender hack is genius
I will definitely be using the Clorox dust wipes... Thanks
The blender hack is awesome thank u so much!!!!!!!!
Very nice! Very informative! I had no idea those Clorox wipes existed. I will get them next time I go grocery shopping!! Thank you!!
Just finished watching, I rate it 7.8/10
A clean home attracts wealth
Wow thanks for the grease filter hack! I did not even know I had grease filters
Watching this in January... "Summers almost here" IT SNOWED IN FLORIDA A FEW DAYS AGO... 😂😂
I will definitely buy the dust wipes, my apartment gets dusty quite often
Thanks household for recommending it
I just use a clean microfiber towel… this i do daily and use pledge once a week lol the microfiber’s fuzziness collects it all up and into the washing machine afterwards (or whenever i run the next load of laundry through lol)
Those grates looks delicious at the first life hack.
PLEASE do include in descriptions a list of the tips mentioned in the vid! That way it would be much easier to find it again later.
0:07 Clean rust from grill
1:01 Clean leftover residues on plastic containers
1:36 Clean smoothie residues from blender jar
2:00 Clean stains from the bathtub
2:32 Clean oven grease filters
2:54 Remove paint from a paint brush
3:15 Clean stains in sneaker's rubber sole
3:37 Remove dust from furniture [PROMOTED]
Thank you for these tips household hacker!
Filters in the dishwasher is brilliant!! Trying that tonight. I just posted an unusual hack for cleaning up Lego, K'nex and beads too and EVERY mom just needs one =)
I laughed out loud when he said "summer's almost here." I live in Louisiana and it's 99 degrees today. Summer is already here, my friend.
That's pretty smart native advertising there, haha. you got me~
2:10 now you're cleaning with POWER
Believe it that I actually did go through a rough patch with my awesome mikes while mowing my neighbors lawn. So yeah thx man now I know how to get out the stains Without bleach.
The paint brush hack is cool! I really need that. Thank! :)
"Make sure to angle the potato," I laughed too hard
Summer's /almost/ here? I don't know about where you at HH are, but here in the US, summer is here and has been.
Simply brilliant ideas!!!!! Tyfs. God bless
The music starting at 2:07 made me laugh for no reason. 😆
we use the last batch thanks Clorox
I must say i like the life hacks, its like old school HHH which is why i first subscribe so many years ago. (Back when tracker was still around)
Congrats on 4 million!!!! 👏👏👌🍻😭💯💯👏👏
I made a scrubber attachment for my drill a couple of years ago, but I ran the bolt from the bottom and just needed to tighten the nut on top.
Dude pretty much prepare me for anything i gotta do thanks👌👌👌
It is a harbor freight drill love this channel and the store
Love how the sponsorship is at the end, tho I don't mind if its about 3/4s of the way through for the video
LOVE THESE CLEANING TIPS!
The container one is my favorite
that dust wipes sounds good!
Great tips! You forgot to mention you could also use a wooden BBQ scraper.
the blender hack was actually pretty good
Hey ! Maybe you could do one about rust sometime (electrolysis, rustol, coke, acid, lemon, vinegar, molasse, wirebrush, brush for drills, sandpaper, steelwool, wd-40, sandblast ...)
got one i do similar to the shoe one if you have Reebok classics then you know they have a foam layer on the soul when they get dirty best way to make them pure white again use either a toothbrush or a nail brush and a bit of toothpaste works for me but take any rough debris or mud off first.
I bought the wipes and they really work!👍❤️💛💚💙💜💗
Love your worf and riker funko pops
Thanks for 3:22, sister, say good bye to your nail polish remover xD
"if your cooking apparatus is dirty, put it in the dishwasher! GOOD AS NEW!"
Amazing life hacks 2016.
I made your scrub brush/threaded rod hack yesterday which I intend to try out at my rental which might need much attention and elbow grease to clean up. If this works out, this clever hack could prove invaluable. QUESTION: Have you got an idea of what I could use instead of a brush in this same way that would be less abrasive? Like a buffer or eraser-type head? would love your input.
can you do a way to make a hover with out using metal
You can also use fabric softener sheets instead of the dust wipes
