Redban was an essential part of building the podcast in the beginning. He did have some infuriating head scratching moments though. I really hope Redban got compensated for helping Joe build his empire.
Rogan helps his friends out supposedly. You don't really publicly speak about something like that, though. Wouldn't be surprised if Rogan bought him a house or at least offered him one.
They're only infuriating if you weren't a true fan. Redban moments were something that made the podcast what it was. Those awkward, embarrassing, off time, unrelated comments were hilarious in their own right. To making not only Rogan embarrassed, but the guest/listeners uncomfortable.
Rogan is pretty generous and likes helping people. I'm pretty sure he would acknowledge redbans help financially even of he has had some proper "oh brian" moments. I'd always thought it would be redban whom everyone hated not Callen/Schaub

His story has always made me sad. He launched countless podcasts but due to making everybody come to his studio in Burbank, forcing everyone under the Deathsquad name and uploading episodes inconsistently everybody dropped him. Most shows he launched managed to get real egineer/producers like Young Jaimie, Blueban, etc. Always liked him but he's never taken Comedy or Podcasting seriously. He just likes to party every night until 4am, sleep all day and play videogames.
I never minded redban and he used to come out with the odd gem but it was because of stupidity on his part. Remember when he asked joe if anderson silva was allowed to have mercury fillings to make weight 😂😂😂.
Whoever is in charge of the production of this show: design, graphics, layouts, lighting, etc. You're killing it! Just letting you know. Best presentation for a podcast for sure.

Reminds me of my Dad.. he's been married twice and pretty much hated both. Openly will say the only good thing was having 3 sons. He constantly said don't get married, its not worth it. Well I made it to 42 single and then finally got engaged. Kept it a secret for months. Finally we all went out for dinner and I pulled him to the side afterward and said Hey, I know what you said but.. I got engaged. And actually he was super happy, big hug n he even looked kinda embarrassed that I said that. It helps tho that everyone loves my gf. She's 19yrs younger and very sweet.

Joe fired his ass, he got tired of Brian always derailing conversations with bad jokes. I think the last straw was when they had Neil degrasse tyson on years ago and joe kept trying to have a serious discussion while Brian made jokes about buttholes. Joe and Brian arguing were some golden moments I miss!
This was incredibly kind of the hosts. Really solidified my respect for them. It's good to see Redban smile.
Rogan should do an episode now where he & Brian listen to the 1st episode & discuss the first couple months of the podcast
