As a driller for 60 years I know my bits and what goes into making them. Started making carbide insert drill bits at 14 years old. For percussion and down the hole hammer bits. I'm retired now mid 70's.
I’m 57 and worked as a drillers offsider for a few years doing exploratory coal seam drilling. It’s one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever done and dangerous. I also worked on coal seam methane gas drilling rig for a few weeks, biggest drill bits I’ve ever seen !
I am glad you presented this material. The quality of the information, and the production of the video are clear and understandable. It amuses me that people complain about the narrator, or sound quality. This isn't meant to be a blockbuster cinema production. I grew up with books, overhead projectors, slide shows with scratchy vinyl records and for a real treat we got to run the film projector, stop and fix the film, and watch most of a movie! This is just fine for what it is intended to do, communicate information. For crying out loud, it didn't cost me a dime to watch sitting in my armchair, and microwave popcorn doesn't cost eight bucks a serving! Pretty good value I'd say.
Worst part while performing electrical work in machine & tool & the shops the machnists would often sharpen brand new drill bits because they factory edge were often questionable.
Anyone know where the original video is the last part looked quite interesting would be nice if the original creator got a few likes nd views out of this
The Robotic voice that cannot prononce words correctly is just awful. Why do the people that produce these videos treat the audience with such disrespect, by inflicting a pathetic second rate Text to Adio programme just to save a couple of bucks. FFS I won'rt bother watching any more, than the two minutes I have wasted already, and will definitley not be subscribing.

Really admire the drill maker here, the precision they put into their work must be immaculate for each and every drill.
Looking like end mills to me..
Great subject matter, but the audio cuts in and out, rendering the video kind of bad.
The robot voice is most annoying
It can't pronounce alloy, that is for sure. Deburring is wrong too.

4:15 illustrates my fight with right handed tools! See how awkward it is with the swarf or chips throwing the wrong way?
The ai can’t say deburring.
yeah, seems like they are flooding Ytube with it now, wonder who gets the ad revenue if any.
I feel like this guy is reading from a script and really doesn’t know the subject matter very well
What's wrong with that could you narrate better
It’s AI
@@The_Tarmaster Al? I know a couple guys named Al
It's not a real person.
Love how everything that has a microchip is now refered to as AI, never mind the fact AI has nothing to do with it
This is nothing but clickbait. There were no giant drill bits.
That was a close on at 11:40
The fake voice is glitching very badly. Makes the video extremely hard to watch.
Thanks for your comment. We will try more in next videos.
Drills such as Dormer, Presto and Cleveland will still be cutting steel when their Chinese counterparts have been consigned to the scrap bin.
At 11:39 please paint these machine!.
I didn't know it was pronounced DEB-YERING
That’s De- bure ing

Text to speech narration makes this unwatchable.
