    I sure do love the expressions you create Kevin. Most of the other wizard/wood spirits out there look so dour and serious. Thanks for bringing a smile to the art!

      Thank you Sean. Life is too short to be serious is what my characters tell me. Lol

    Thank you Kevin for sharing this video. Can you tell me what knife you were using? I like the shortness of the blade and the thickness. It looks like OCC but could be something else. Thank you.

      Scott you’re right. It is an OCC. They are great knives. Thanks

      Thank you. If I was doing a walking stick I would carve the head and face and attach it to the stick

    Hi Kevin, I have never tried to carve a wood spirit. This would be a good one for me to try. Thanks. What is the second stain you used for this carving apart from the mineral oil?

    • @KevinCoates98
      @KevinCoates98  2 роки тому +2

      Hey Bruce. It was a little brown paint thinned with water. Just to darken the cuts a little

    Hi Kevin. Which tools do you find best for left handers?

    • @KevinCoates98
      @KevinCoates98  2 роки тому

      Connie, a sharp knife would be my choice of tool. I rarely use any other tools
