Saturday morning, coffee in hand, listening to the sound of a freshly honed knife cutting through wood and watching a piece of scrap turn into a fun little project. Thanks Kevin.
When I carve this one I'm keeping it myself 🤣 ...... love it. I have relatives who live near the sea and can see them requesting one to. Thanks for sharing. 😁🏴
Nice carving Kevin. In my short time carving I have never tried a bird carving. Apart from the 3/4 inch thickness what is the width & height of the piece of wood? Thanks for the inspiration I receive from your carvings.
Thanks Bruce. I’m not very good with birds either but it doesn’t matter. It’s not spose to be realistic. It’s just for fun and practice cutting wood. I’ll send the pattern to your email
@@KevinCoates98 Thanks your time and effort it took to make a great video. This project is so much fun to carve, and easy to get great results. I’m already starting to modify, backwards baseball cap (cool birds only), pirate eye patch, scarf, ties. My refrigerator is going to have a lot of birds on it. 😆
Nicely done. I'm not much of a carver, so not terribly experienced, but I do like to use my Mora knife to rough out sometimes instead of my more specialized roughing knife.
