Credits Roll from Super Mario 64 on Mario Paint

- Please share your memories! This is the Ending Credits Theme from the Nintendo 64 video game "Super Mario 64". This music was arranged using the music sequencer from the Super Nintendo video game called "Mario Paint", which was released in 1992.
I know this song holds a special place in many gamers' hearts, and I wanted to take special care with its development. Although I may be a late bloomer when it comes to 3D games, this particular track hits home as a very powerful theme filled with inspiration, joy and overall happiness. I sincerely hope you enjoy this arrangement.
I like how this is on the actual Mario Paint and not the program that everyone else uses.
A well-trained ear can tell if a melody ever steps outside the boundaries of a diatonic scale. This particular song has a fairly simple melody, and everything is diatonic. It was even written in C major, so it didn't even need transposing! The only exception is the modulation that occurs at the end (up a half step) and the minor subdominant chord at the final cadence which were both easy to accommodate.
This song puts me in tears.

Yes, awesome indeed! Super Mario 64 was definitely one of the most influential games of it's generation, and this reminds me of why it's still important to gaming today.

Probably my second most favorite game on the N64 (Next to LoZ:OoT of course)! I play through it once every couple years. :o) This was one of those games that defines a person, and that's just what it did.
Also, great job on this rendition! love it! I love it more than I love kreamcheese! (Wait.. i hate kreamcheese, so obviously I'll love it more than kreamcheese... wait why the heck am I saying kreamcheese so much!?! ;o) lol) But really, I great job, and thanks for bringing up good memories ^.^

The only thing that might have made that slightly better is slipping in "Thanks-a so much for-to playing my game!" at the end, but hell with it, more than good enough. My God, that is a nostalgic song, incredible. And a wonderful rendition, very good.
(And every time I hear this song, I swear more and more that a certain section of it reminds me of a track from Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal...but nevermind that!)

Aw man... I remember playing Super Mario 64 for the first time and being completely blown away... To this day, I experience a unique feeling when at certain parts of the game... a feeling that I've yet to experience in any other game.

Still making Mario Paint videos using the music editor? Awesome, since the original game does have its limitations for trying to remake a song. Great pick of the Super Mario 64 Credits, that's a good theme that gives off some great nostalgia. As always, great work on doing Mario Paint songs using the original game!

It's kind of funny (or sad) to see how great songs could be made in the old era such as NES, SNES and N64 and how that has been replaced with heavy metal rock-ish music in boss battles like in Final Fantaxy XIII-2... Currently playing it and I hate the boss battle music there. Can't compare to Jenova's Battle from FFVII... And Guild Wars 2 vs EverQuest II music... GW2 is a joke. Some music just age with style and this piece is definitely one of those.
