HOT D*MN this episode pumps up the moral quandary, bromances gone awry and VAULT MYSTERY! Hit up Patreon.com/SeanTanktop to watch the UNCUT Reaction to S1x6 for $8 RIGHT NOW!!!
Sean my take on Maximus: he is a more dramatized Din Djarin Mandalorian; he had his home taken from him, sought a creed to ascend himself, and is looking for something good in the world to believe in
yeah, i mean he's a child soldier. I do think the actor just has a really great face that makes you wanna root for him to turn that Wasteland frown upside down
Wolverine/Deadpool line... PERFECT !!! FLAWLESS VICTORY !!!
Seany Short Sleeves WINS!!!
Morgan: "Are they all just an experiment?"
Every Fallout player ever: 👀
14:19 In Fallout 4, if you take Paladin Danse (follower/companion/my video game husband 😉 from the Brotherhood of Steel) to the remains of a drive-in theater, he sadly says “I've never been
fortunate enough to watch a moving picture show before.” So you were correct, Sean!
This makes me even more mad the drive in mods for Xbox that fixes the screen and projector doesn't work anymore.
@@TheJoshuatree321Ugh, is that due to the horrible update from last month? I knew it would break a lot of mods (a lot of which have been long-abandoned by the authors, so they’ll never be updated to work with this new version of the game) and I play on PC, so I blocked it from updating. Meaning my ridiculously big mod load order still works like normal. >_>
Otherwise, if this had already stopped working before April, do you remember what the mod was called? Was it Videos of the Wasteland/VOTW? That stopped working at some point, but there’s a fix for it.
I completely understand the sentiment of, "If the Enby person is down with you, youre probably alright." 😂
And I live by that
@@JessieBalls It's a pretty good rule of thumb, right? 😁
I don’t think most people are aware of the real horror of why Lucy’s pip boy set off the cannibal. All a vault dweller is to a cannibal is the opportunity to get some prime Wagyu beef. Raised well in a more or less stress-free environment for its entire life, fed three square meals a day of the best food you can, and for certain filled with less tumors and cysts the most of the other people, they run down up here. Even if Lucy & Max had both been armed to the teeth, that is a meal any cannibal would still try for.
My theory on reattaching Lucy's finger before trying to harvest her organs, is that there are a lot of organs we can live without. One of our lungs, a kidney, our spleen, appendix, gall bladder, adenoids, tonsils, some lymph nodes and up to 6 ribs. It's probably standard procedure to harvest and sell unneeded organs to max out profits, before then putting people in the display cases. Oh and as for the finger, he had to put her back into "Mint Condition" for sale in the display case.
There’s a robotic inane logic here that works
The Mark 4 robot never said the finger supply was low, it said “our finger inventory is in a sorry state” meaning (to me, at least) that there wasn’t a wide variety to choose from that would be a decent match for her.
The actress that plays Betty was a big thing in the 70's (Lesile Uggams.) I'm glad she's still around.
Strange….they’re due to run out of clean water soon. Probably closer to one month rather than two now due to the agreement of time passing. Yet Steph, who is originally from vault 31, seems to be taking a long, enjoyable shower during that entire exchange between the cousins, maybe even before Chet let Norman in. All before the community learned about the vault relocation effort. Hmmm strange.
“Our new Overseer Betty Pearson has found a way to [blah blah blah]”… point being, now that a 31’er is Overseeing, supply problems will probably solve themselves seemingly
Theory (spoiler free): 33 and 32 operate in service to 31; they are paired to AND insulated from one another in case one discovers the truth about 31, revolts, and needs a little purging
Bonus Theory: Sean: (sees Steph) “I can make her worse 😍”
Damn Morgan's on it today!
Organs thing -
Either because people need to be in "Optimal condition", which allows him to default to his programming of being a Doctor robot (I think the finger only works because it was a ghoul or supermutant finger cause it's not like he injected her with anything and the finger didn't look special at all.
Or because he is a doctor robot designed to help people and they probably redesignated organ harvesting as "helpful noninvasive surgery" in his protocols based on how he acted. Either way there are dozens of answers in that spectrum we can imagine which is why it's hilarious. Some people are complaining about it like it's an oversight.. and gosh those people need to go to improv or something.
I agree 100%. Clearly he was originally a medical bot pre-war. He meets a new patient and gets them patched up a quickly as possible. Now he has new programming to harvest their organs. Step one, step two, he is going down his list. *We* clearly see the flaw in his programming, just like the many weird and quirky bots we meet in the game. New people to the series who have no Fallout experience wouldn't understand this so I don't take that kind of criticism seriously. Anyone who has played the game who still wants to complain about it being "bad writing" or inconsistent just want something to complain about. And there are a *lot* of people doing that now, although in reality they are a tiny fraction compared to the number of people who loved the show.
I love you guy's reactions! I've been watching since you were posting the game of thrones bar videos 😊 I'm not sure if you ever consider recommendations, but I would DIE if you guys reacted to Severance. It's FANTASTIC. They just finished filming season 2! It's right up your alley and I know you would all enjoy it. And your reactions would be very entertaining!
iiiiiiinteresting! We'll take a look!
@@SeanTanktop You would love Severance. Trust me.
@@eltravos99 Oh, wow… yes, I can guarantee you’d love Severence!
i was not expecting a cut-in from the PJs litt
It was a deep cut
You guys are a vibe. Tuning in from River North. We're not all lame athleisure yuppies with no taste here ya know!
We gotcha! It’s a big town and there’s some dope shit over there and some eye-rolly stuff same as Logan!
This show turned out to be great.
19:10 Yes, that is exactly what The Brotherhood of Steel is all about. They want to collect and preserve pre-war tech because they know mankind abused high-tech in the past and destroyed the world. So they don't want anyone else to have it because they have already seen where that path leads. However that does not make them the good guys, far from it. Lucy and Maximus are having a discussion about this right before they get to the bridge crossing.
20:00 Lucy has never heard of the brotherhood before meeting Maximus in Filly. They formed while her ancestors were in the vaults. (yes, technically the first brotherhood appeared by a rebellion of a US Army unit a few days before the bombs fell, but this was not widely know). She only knew he was a knight because he introduced himself as such when he saved her from the ghoul in episode two. "Knight Titus of the Brotherhood of Steel. Stand down or be cut down". That was her first exposure to Knights or the Brotherhood. She knew what the word knight meant probably from reading history books or King Arthur legends, but nothing recent. They have been sealed off for 219 years. She does know about power armor because that was used by the US military in the war against China (like the battle of Anchorage) in the 10 years before the bombs fell, but they weren't called knights back then, they were just soldiers.
The scene in which the two leads discover the ruins of Shady Sands (the capital of NCR) is controversial among fans of the game, especially those who played New Vegas. To some, It suggests that, in the span of just 15 years (the time that elapsed between the events of that game and those of the series), a major nation (and one of the key players of the West Coast) collapsed completely. Those individuals argue that it is a retcon that came out of nowhere.
If one accepts the scene on its own, it’s not incompatible with continuity. The NCR, being such a huge nation (which occupied large swathes of Northern California and most of Southern California) could still exist, in the same way that modern day California would survive if Sacramento were nuked.
However, the conspicuous absence of any other cities or infrastructure, or indeed any traces of NCR’s presence throughout the series (other than a tiny group later on) reinforces the impression that the nation and its people simply disappeared. This rings a false note, given how many of them there were and how widespread they were throughout SoCal. At the very least, there would still be some intact NCR cities in some of the regions that Lucy and Maximus wander through.
The problem with setting the Fallout series so far in the future is that, by that point, humanity has rebuilt large pockets of civilization and California should no longer look like a desolate wasteland, even if one major city is destroyed. It may have been credible in the first Fallout game but less so more than 200 years later.
That being said, I personally enjoy the series and don’t dwell too much on the canonicity of fictional events. It is human nature to retell stories with different details. However, some die hard fans can’t get over it.
Since it's set after new Vegas, it's not a retcon, who says that doesn't understand what a retcon is. As far as I know nothing between new Vegas release- the shows release has said anything happended in the time since. I think people are jumping to alot or conclusions, saying the ncr was completely wiped. We haven't really seen much of the world in the show yet.
Shady Sands got destroyed. Why? Because War... War never changes.
It would actually surprise me if the story allowed an entire new happy civilization to grow and thrive. Everything about every games tells us that the factions will rip each other apart.
isn’t there a character called titus in kimmy schmidt as well
In this Universe, corporations have taken regulatory capture to a new level. The US Government still existed, but it was broke due to war; Vault-Tec was functionally the government.
The bots are fast on this one
Chet sounds so much like Ryan Reynolds
oh shit! Now that you mention it!
He's doing always this funny expressions but, if you look at him with different eyes he's surely very handsome
Howdy, Pardner! Might I say that's some interesting body language you two have there...?
I love th Derezz comment. that might be fave track from tron
It's a shame you cut "Everyone wants to save the world, they just disagree on how."
Do think we had some big reaction to it and we left at on the cutting room floor?
@@SeanTanktop Nah, I think you just weren't paying attention and missed a major theme of Fallout.
Will you take $5 for the Patreon? I can do the other $3 next month.
Laaaaaaaaate? but goog. Like.
He is not a He, he's a robot he work's on programming, not rational thought.
yea I totally don't like Lucy coz he's she's hot, it's 100% because of her acting ability (which is great) 😇
You know what they say, when it's all a dump vote Donald Trump
