Cinnamon Bun and Morty are so adorable bunnies 🐰, together 🐰 ❤! I am glad Morty is feeling better! They are so cute, when they are eating hay together! Have a great day little bunnies 🐰! 🐰 Bunnies 🐰 RULE!
We have two lovely home bunnies to. My little aliyah had a bad GI stasis about a month ago needing admission and iv fluids. She recovered. My advice please follow all these advices and if possible have pet insurance too as otherwise can be well expensive.
I'm sorry to hear that your bunny had to go through that. It's very scary. I'm glad she recovered! We don't have a pet insurance right now, but that's a good idea. It's true that vet bills can get very expensive!
I read a comment a few years ago that a little oatmeal (not the quick cooking kind) daily was used by the writer of the comment for many years to help prevent GI stasis. Oatmeal is calorie dense so too much can lead to too much weight. I give our buns ½ teaspoon on the pellets each morning. Sadly we lost my sweet black rescue bunny months ago. I had a terrible time getting the Critical Care in her. The vet was closed and it broke my heart to lose her. Maybe the oatmeal has helped the others. Each of them has had GI stasis at least once over the last 4 or 5 years. They totally love the oatmeal so I do hope it helps some. I even found small bags of Oat hay from Oxbow online somewhere. They seem to like the human oatmeal better than the oatmeal hay though.
I'm so sorry to hear about your bunny. I know some people give bunnies oatmeal as treats, but I didn't know it can help prevent GI stasis. I sometimes get oat hay from Oxbow, too. My bunnies seem to like it. I'll have to look into oatmeal. Thank you for sharing!
I am afraid you got some bad advice. I asked an exotic expert about oats before, and told they are not good for bunnies, it actually raises their bad cholesterol. I would stay away from feeding bunnies oats.
Such a great informative video......I wish I had, had this knowledge when my Ariel was still alive.....I think she would have lived a longer life because of it.....Thankyou for posting this clip.....It will help so many more bunnies to have a longer happy life.
Great video. I have found slowly syringe feeding pineapple juice every couple of hours has helped also. Though my go to is that if they refuse eatting for 4-6 hours, especially when refusingvtreats that they are usually very excited for, I immediately syringe feed them critical care every 4 hours. Usuaaly it takes only 1-2 feedings to get them back on track. I have also encourage them to move around.
Thank you! That's interesting that pinnaple juice helps, too. It must be the enzyme. I always keep a critical care on hand, but pinnaple juice maybe a good alternative when critical care isn't available because it's sometimes hard to find. Encouraging the rabbit to move around is a good point, too. I read that movement can help them relieve gas. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. 😊🐰
@@CinnamonBunMorty You can always add water to their pellets and soak them until they break down to critical care consistency, I have done that too when no ctitical care on hand. I add a small bit of fruit puree to make it similar consistency of critical care. It works best if you grind the pellets but you'd have to have a grinder you use only for pellets to keep the buns safe. I do, as I also grind down their pellets and mix with fruit puree to make them homemade treats in my food dehydrator.
That's a great idea to grind pellets and mix with fruit puree! 😀 I didn't think of that. It's good to have different options in case of emergency. Very cool that you make homemade treats for your bunnies!😊🐰

I always have trouble administering medictions, too. 😟🐰 When we first got Morty, he had some kind of infection and I had to syringe feed medication, but he was very difficult and I ended up just putting the medication on vegetables. Thank you!😊🐰
My bunnies love the taste of digestive support cookies. I heard that some rabbits don't like the papaya support supplement, but they often eventually eat it if you leave it out. 🙂🐰
You are making GREAT videos! :D I think you would be much more popular if you skip the male voiceover though. ;) And maybe make the videos more colorful and upbeat, when possible.
Snuggle bunnies 4EVER!
So happy Morty is back to zooming around ❤
Thank you! He's back to happy Morty!😊🐰👍

It's amazing to see, that Cinnamon Bun 🐰🐇 and Morty 🐰🐇 always take care of each other.
They are absolutely awesome 😺👍.
Thank you! Yes, maybe CB was a little worried. She stayed close when Morty wasn't feeling well. 😊🐰❤️
A life without bunnies is possible but senseless 🐇
Bunnies make life better!😊🐰
Feliz de que Morty se haya recuperado ❤
Gracias! Ha vuelto a ser feliz Morty.😊🐰

@@Amy-cs1bg Interesting. Raising cholesterol doesn't sound good...🤔 Thank you!

Thank you! GI stasis is such a scary condition. It's important to help our furry friends stay healthy and happy.🙂🐰

Tak, CB wydawało się być zmartwione, gdy Morty nie czuł się dobrze. Siano jest bardzo ważne dla króliczków.😊🐰
Also my sweet bunnies are adorable but difficult to force feed fluids or medicines any tips are welcome.
Once again a great video

Good information for people who don't know, glad Morty is ok
Thank you! 😊🐰
Digestive Support is really a big help to our small pets. I also try to give it to my pets starting today

Thank you. 🙂 I think our videos are usually upbeat, but I made this video kind of dark to convey the seriousness of GI stasis.
@@CinnamonBunMorty OK :) I understand! Keep going. :D
