Bunnies usually don't like to be put on their back. They are prey animals so that position puts them in a vulnerable state. That's why Charlie did that. Defending the soft underbelly.

@@BustaBunny3045 that's a choice they're making. When my bunny lays in a position that exposes her belly, I see it as a statement that she's comfortable around me. But in the video the bunny doesn't seem to want to stay in that position.

I love the Flemish Giant’s…I’d do anything to have one but I still love my regular size bunny…her name is Miranda.
Btw…to the girl who had the bunny laying on his back, bunnies HATE being on their backs that’s why the bunny bit her.

I'm so happy to have shared that with you, and I hope other people will see this comment too. I only found out when I joined House Rabbit Society on Facebook - people there are bunny crazy! Hahah. I have 2 rabbits myself - they've been with me for over a year now. They are my absolute world. Prior to that, I've only had cats my whole life. :)

It was super cute but you can really see the different habits of rabbits and hares there. It's a bit of a pity that hares make for bad pets, I adore those super sized ears. I wonder how they came by this one.
@Wolfsschamane well I used to have a Rottweiler/Collie mix, two of them, and they both brought baby rabbits home, so we used to bottle feed them, but they never really got tame. Now I have a couple of cottontails that come to eat, and I can call them and they come to me, they're not scared of my dog either, so it's kind of strange how that works. I posted a couple of videos of me calling them them coming to me.
I miss my big guy Wendell. He lived with me for over 10 years

Wow, I am learning something new, I never knew that rabbits were that personable, I am really amazed at how awesome these furry little creatures navigate, and they appear to be really loving pets.
I have 2 buns and yes if you put time into them they're more like a cat than a doggo, that's what I think Anywho. I love when mines do binkys n stuff
They love to play, cuddle and have a sense of humor.
They are amazing pets. I was so unaware until I spent time with my granddaughter’s rabbit. I have been a dog lover all my life but bunnies are such satisfying pets and great companions.
It depends on the rabbit... just like any other animal. But yah, rabbits can be super personable.
I know one that demands to be fed by hand while you scratch her between the ears. She made it VERY clearly to me that it was what she wanted too.
You just have to pay attention to body language since they can't talk.
This one started eating out of the container of food in my hand that I was trying to pour into her food dish. Then stopped, looked me in the eyes then at my free hand and back in my eyes. I was like, "What do you want?" so she did it again and I was like, "uh??" started petting her and she went back to eating. I took the petting hand away and she stopped eating and out right glared at me. ... like I mean seriously glared at me.
I did learn one thing from this video of sweetness, is that bunnies can be a handful! lol. I would still love to have one of those giant breeds. ♥️

We had a wild rabbit our old cat brought in as a tiny mite we thought he was a mouse. He grew into a very affectionate house rabbit and lived for nearly 8 years much loved he was called Walter we miss him very much

As a joke for Halloween. He put his Flemish Giant in the front yard with a warning sign.
Radioactive ☢️ Bunny... It scared the delivery driver. "THAT'S REAL.. THAT'S A LIVE BUNNY"
He came back with his kids later.

Funny, I used to stop my bunny trying to jump on and off things that might be too dangerous though because of his tiny bones being broken. I was always very protective of him though he was a house bunny. Also I was careful not to feed him anything like banana he wouldn’t find in the wild as he had one early warning of stasis a bunny killer.
He lived to 12 and up to his last 9 months was super fit thankfully.
These beautiful rabbits remind me so much of all the fun and love we had and how much like a dog he was but way more fragile!
Bless him we miss him dreadfully. Always such precious memories! I had other previous outdoor rabbits who were beautiful but none as bonded and characterful as our last boy. ❤️
