@@TitanTown any way to make a video of it? I have energy suspension mounts in another vehicle of mine and I'm ready to switch those back to OEM because the vibration is so rough.
Hey Titan town, i appreciate the Titan videos you make. They are very underrated truck. Should have been 1 of the top 3 trucks. When these were first introduced. My truck has 163k and seems very reliable. Just replaced the infamous crack header. Fuel mileage got a lil better and now it has more power. I like what you done to your truck. How many miles are on yours? And how reliable has it been?
Thanks, I have just over 100 000kms on mine. No major issues so far. (owned since new 2014). I just installed JBA longtube headers today, i have to finish up a new MBRP exhuast to go with it!
@@TitanTown that’s good to know! And header install is a PITA right? Haha doing the passenger side was way easier than driver side. I just have the headers and factory exhaust. Did you get yours tune?
@@TitanTown Cajun doing the tune? Lol yeah foreal for me I think the worst part for me was the motor mounts. After I torque down the headers I realize the way I removed the motor mount with the OEM header (removing the 2 bolts on top of the mount) couldn’t work reverse order with the LTH. Had to remove the header and put those 2 top bolts back on and then remove the 4 bolts on the side in order to raise the engine and then re install the header. It was so time consuming. Also, there isn’t any UA-cam video for the driver side but seriously that would be so helpful, unless you made a video for that 👀
@@6.2SlomaroNo RB is. There is no youtube vido of driver's side because that is the hard side lol. Also you cant see anything with the camera so hard to film. I filmed a bit from both sides. Other videos say to remove top 2 bolts which is useless you need to remove 4 bolts from side of engine block to raise motor away from mounts.
Would you be willing to show or mention how/where you supported the engine for the mount swap? The dealer wants $1k per side and $1k for the trans mount which I believe you jack up on the transfer case to replace. I appreciate it!
How many motor mounts the Nissan Titan have ? 2 only ? I got one low clack when apply gas , I thinks is the trasmision or motor mounts …. 2010 over 100k miles
Hey I have the CJD mounts in the mail, I already have a bracket lift, and LT headers so not heat shield in the way. I thought that the mounts could just slide out and you did not have to remove the arm connected to the block. Was that an unnecessary step or just what the manual called for?
I do all my work on my own, I am just afraid of stripping or cross threading those bolts. I live in MD so we get some salt but have the lift has kept my mounts away from a lot of corrosion. I have 175k and my front left mount is leaking its internal fluid and I can here the engine clunking on that side lol.
This is what the manual called for and no you won't get it slid out. The mount hangs down so the arm has to be moved out of the way. The only bolt that was really stuck was the centre long bolt. The bolts to the block came out easily.

For some reason the passenger side was a pain in the ass to get in. But my mounts ripped apart. Went with beck and arney. Now I wish I got OEM.
In comparison to OEM mounts what are the advantages of cjd mounts and how do they affect vibration compared to OEM?
Pros Stiffer and stronger. Cons vibration but I only notice it at idle and it's not bad, just noticeable.

Yeah I have UpRev, i will need to retune. it went pretty smoothly but yes, a pain taking off and putting on all of the nuts in a tight space.

So what about the Driver side? Do you need to drop down the t-case?
Driver's side is the same. Don't touch the t-case. You can do it with the front diff installed but you will have more room if you drop it.
Will these cause horrible vibrations around 1100-1700 RPM while in park?
There is noticeable vibration yes. I don't mind it.
I'm messing with a 2010 Armada and it has a vibration at idle and gets really bad off idle and up to about 1000 rpm.

Under the oil pan. Use a piece of 2×4 to spread the load.

Well that looks miserable. Mine probably need doing at 181k. Might just take it to a shop haha
Actually wast that bad with the right tools. Anyone racing or towing should upgrade and my truck has 100k kms so yours might be worse.
@@TitanTown how much of an impediment do you estimate the front diff is? Not sure I want to take it out just yet.
@@Constabruity it would be. You would likely have to have truck raised and take wheel off and use a variety of extensions and swivels.
