Does it give any more clearance for the driveshaft? Mine hits the floor of the cab. Its a little better after grinding that area down a bit... Looking into traction bars next.

The 5.6L has a block drain on the passenger side below the exhaust header that drains everything out of right side of the engine. The left side of the engine can be drained by removing the hose to the oil cooler on the driver's side of the oil cooler. Then drain the radiator. That drains out the bulk of the ~3.25 gallons of fluid, as I recall, that these engines hold. They're pretty simple to refill and I never had any issue getting them to bleed out air properly, but a vacuum fill does help a lot.

Ah crap. Bought some RTC based on the recommendation in this video. A month later it comes time to do the seal replacement and for the life of me I can’t remember why I bought the oem Nissan RTV sealant. (Bought like 10 maintenance items all at once) After following along with this video, I get the nut installed. Only to get to the part where you mention the RTV after the nut is already installed. 😅 Oh well, hoping it should be fine

Great info! I ordered and installed on my 2017 Titan. Tailgate opens properly now but when I close it, there's a pop sound. The pop occurs right before it's shut, and seems to be coming from the hinge area. Any idea what's causing this?
