Kaya hindi na umuunlad ang Pilipinas kasi ang motto ng mga Pilipino ay "Tawanan mo iyong problema" kya nauso ang videoke inuman hapi hapi hanggang sa nging kultura na para makalimutan ang problema. Hnihintay lagi ang bday, New year, Setyembre plang jusko Xmas na ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES tlga😅. Bukas makalawa andyan prin ang problema. Pti sa PISA result kulelat ang mga Pinoys sa buong mundo. Hanggang ngaun wala pang food security. Thank you Vietnam S. South Korea Tsina sa pgbenta ng bigas. Bili ulit kmi sa susunod.Idaan ulit sa ngisi at hapi hapi go with the flow nlng dba😅.

Toothpick na nga lng made in Tsina pa.

Hey buddy I’ve been living here for the last 10 months and I love the people here they are amazing, the food on the other hand is another story lol when I was in Manila or Cebu I didn’t mind the food because they have all the American restaurants chains so I could have what I am use to but once you go and stay in a small province like Iligan City then things change and that’s when your eating the local foods and I’m not a big fan of many dishes but I have found a couple of things to get me through.
The traffic is crazy just like the drivers but over all it’s just so fun and laid-back here so I would recommend the Philippines to anyone who just wants to get away for a vacation or someone looking for an affordable place to retire.
I’m heading back to Alberta next week with my new wife and we’re going to enjoy what Canada has to offer and then make our way back to the Philippines for retirement.

Poverty porn is popular. Follow that with Pinoy baiting branding the area as the most dangerous in the Phils. Slums are everywhere. But the slums in the Phils sell more to the eyes of the Western audience. Foreign bloggers feel safer in our slums because people can still speak English than in most Southeast Asian slums. The good about Phils underprivileged people is that they are nicer compared to the poor people of the first-world countries. Just my two cents.

I think you have to live in the Philippines for a long time to get a real perspective of a lot of the people. When I first came here as a tourist (with money) and was new to my wife's family (She's Filipino) everybody was very polite and friendly. The more time went by her family became less friendly, in fact now they don't really smile and say hello anymore but that's common for a lot of Filipinos they act the same to their own kind. The only time the family really engages with me is if they want to borrow money lol. Of course, going to the Malls spending your wedge you will always get a positive opinion lol. The housing may be inexpensive compared to the West but things are getting expensive here now!

Bruce had visited other countries and there's a comparison which makes sense. His perspective is way different from other interviewee in this video but he's making it real. He's able to tell the good and the downside as a long time visitor. What he noticed with the food, the children begging, the middle age women begging for money at the mall, the comparison between Cebu and Davao are true, he provided his observation in a microscopic way. The woman who interrupted him during the interview might find normal to some Filipinos but not with other race, they'll find it rude. Anyways, its a good shot to upload videos of different foreign people with their perspective, its also an eye opener to some viewers.

You can can stroll through Tondo Manila and most likely live for another day. But here in the West, Canada or U.S. good luck. Those poor people on the streets have mostly drug addiction or mental health problems and you don't really want to deal with these people(getting assaulted). During winter its really hard for the homeless going through shelters for there is no guarantee of safety. And top of that when it gets -40 degree winter you better have warm clothing otherwise you won't make it the next day.

Every countries there are poor one’s, good and bad, you just have to be aware, with some filipinos, most of them are better, they have manners, kind, polite, generous, caring,
Just be careful with some girls who would only be after with money from foreigners, Everyone has common sense,
I have watch some videos of Raffy Tulfo in Action that some Filipina ladies scam foreigners are seeking help from Senator Raffy Tulfo.
It is so embarrassing that Filipinas would fool them They need to know the person very well before dating those ladies, Especially some would request to ask help to financially help there families, Foreigners who comes to visit the Philippines wants to date Filipina ladies should know them very well. Than using them.

The reason why they are getting "unhealthy" foods is because they are eating their meal in fast foods. Filipino eat in restaurants for snacks only. The meal is either at their home of carinderia. Spaghetti, salad, is just a snack in the Philippines.

This retired guy from Canada leaves his home country to retire to another country then complains about the country he is visiting is the epitome of Western people. If it's so bad why don't you go back to your country that is so great? You are a guest so act like a guest, I hope you get treated as one where ever you go. Some retirees or digital nomads appreciate the locals, don't act like this guy.

I’m in Cebu now. I’ve heard and read so many comments about how nice the people are in the Philippines. I’ve found that’s absolutely not the case from my personal experience. They’re no more friendly or unwelcoming than any other country I’ve been to. A lot of people won’t even look at me in the eye when I’m shopping or ordering food etc.
To be honest I think a lot of people online saying how friendly everyone is in The Philippines are white. I see overweight bald, older white men that would be considered losers in the US all with young, often attractive Filipinas. I’m multiracial, and frankly I don’t think I fit the version of white that Filipinos treat kindly. At best I feel they’re neutral towards me and even sometimes resentful or noticeably unfriendly.
Yeah it’s great that English is so widely spoken. On the downside the food is really not good for someone used to western or even East Asian cuisine. I thought I’d stay here a long time, but I’m already looking forward to returning to Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, etc.

I agree with you. Having a striking features is the one that appeals to the eyes of majority of the Filipinos. Not necessarily white people all the time but definitely they have an advantage. Some tall dark men, individuals with cute dimples, and people with noticeable eyelashes are usually will make Filipinos turn their heads on.
