Even though I’m going with LG this time (want a 77” OLED), I’m very interested in Panasonic’s lineup and looking forward to how it evolves in the coming years. Great to have more competition in the US.
Wow that panel looks amazing even on my phone !!
Yes😂
Looks great. Bring on ces!
Great review Brian! Loving Panasonic's return to the US market.
So glad you enjoyed! Thank you so much for watching
Hey Brian,
Glad to see your a Deadspace fan also. Just finished DS2 and love DS3 w/the weapon building option. Highly recommended title. Rocking my Panasonic 65S64 from Costco bought in 2013 and it’s still going strong. Glad Panasonic is back and looking forward to their offerings in 2025 and beyond.
Enjoyed the video as always. As a TV enthusiast I love your channel. Thank you again (Brain) lol. 👊🏻
@BamafaithfulRollTide 🤣🤣I appreciate it so much my friend
Gonna take a peek.😊
Thank you brother!
Can you use Motion Smoothing while playing games with Panasonic z95a?
I love your channel.
Keep up the great work.
Thanks again for your time and help it's greatly appreciated.
Thanks Brian
Good job👍
Thank you so much!
My favorite Porto-Riquen channel on YT! 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPYWould You Still Pick The LG G4 Over This Panasonic Oled, After VIEWING This Tv????
@michaelburton5198 Yes, the G4 is still my favorite overall TV of 2024.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Wow!!! That's Saying Alot! You're Unbelievable Man! YOU SAY WHAT U SAY, AND DON'T SWITCH FOR ANYTHING!!! I LIKE THE MOST ABOUT YOU!!!! TAKE CARE, AND KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING BRAIN!!!!
@michaelburton5198 Thank you so much, Michael! I truly appreciate it, and thank you for being here
You make great videos, would love to see you upload this kind of coverage in HDR to UA-cam so it looks even better on my S24 ultra.
Made it in at the end of the stream. Still want to see how good their mini led version is. I know the review is coming 👍
One thing USA streamers do is show TVs in action, so that's good here, plus they review more models. Believe miniLED is a TCL with panasonic processing on top. Will be interesting to see what starting point model they use QM8 ?,
@@nimblegoat I kind of doubt it unless all they're using is the panel and nothing else but we'll find out with time. Sony doesn't make their own panels anymore but they make everything else to drive whatever they use.
@@69Dartman Not saying it will look like a TCL. Panasonic will dictate design, speakers etc, but china can spit out plastic molds, integrate whatever speakers even if technics . Vestal in Turkey make there cheap LCDS I think . There is speculation Sony's innovative miniLCD dimmable system is TCL tech . Could well be considering how well Sony did with few backlights on their X80l and X95L models. Sony's secret sauce is it's processing. Begs the question what an open source TV with powerful processors could do .
Some ways it's a good thing , as Sony and Panasonic only sell a few flagships vs the bigger brands . So if they can spread cost over a bigger range, The Sony B3 is really ordinary. But for many the brand is strong , and to them the B3 will be a "great" Tv , better than their old one
Fellow Tekken 8 player on PS5 here love how you are showing it off on this gorgeous TV
Awesome!! So glad you enjoyed!
Yessszz
So the z95a would be the most accurate ootb of all the top tv's this year?, seems to be the perfect middle ground between the brightness of the g4 and the accuracy of the a95l?.
Thank You, Brian!
It's early, but it does look to be the most colorful of WOLED TVs. Using more color and less white subpixel, which does lead to a slight less HDR pop than the G4.
Also personally, im fidelity over frames myself - though like you, i use an RTX 4090 and a 9-class CPU. I also have 96GB/192GB of RAM and 16TB of storage. I will upgrade to the 5090, because- well i dont need to tell you 😂
The G4 and the Panny are interesting blends of MLA that I find fascinating.
If I was going WOLED, i would lean Panasonic, personally. Im hoping we see more reviews.
Ty for the vid as always BRIAN lol, hey imagine a 77, I hope so for next year. Really good Tvs Panasonics.
@Takeme_DCUO thank you for watching! Yes you'll see more sizes at CES
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY that will be worth a look at, Ty for the reply
Awesome review! 😃🎉
I hope to get one, but prices are roughly $5000 in Denmark, so I might wait to see what happens at CES.
BEFORE I REALLY PAY THAT KIND OF MONEY FOR A TV. I REALLY WOULD GET A LG QNED 85TUA. OR A LG OLED AND SAVE A LITTLE MONEY
Thanks for the info, very helpful, I had a 2018 Panasonic oled and loved it, switched to LG C1 and missed many little things about the older Panasonic which was better in some ways, had be considering the LG G4 because of its gaming advantages but this Panasonic might just be the better option for me, just a shame it doesn't wall mount flush but maybe I'll get a media wall built around it or whatever its called
Would be cool if you were to make a 4K Blue Ray comparison between as many of these high end oled TVs as you can. G4 vs Z95A vs A95L vs S95D. I don’t see any UA-camrs talking about how they compare with 4K Blue Rays, which is the highest quality possible way to watch movies.
Bought that beast in 77inch😍
true cinema mean more washout like almost all picture mode in any tv.
LOL
God I wish this was on a wall somewhere to see in person because man.... I am chomping at the bit to replace my 10 yr old 50" lol
Knew Astrobot was gonna get utilized!
Does the Z95A lose brightness in game mode. Like the LG G3 and LG C4.?
I am a BIG Fan of your channel.
Keep up the good work!
Does it have Low Latency motion interpolation for gaming like Samsung with Game Motion Plus?
Hi, brian , bravia 9 gaming time plis.
Will you be reviewing the Panasonic Z90A.
@brian'stechtherapy excellent review, I appreciate how you explain the color difference between saturated and how the directors envision the image being for games. In your opinion what would be the best tv for streaming content, 4k blu ray, and gaming 65" and up with google tv os being preferred.
i would love to see Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on this TV
G4 vs Z95A for gaming overall? What’s your opinion?
Go for the G4 if you need more than two full speed HDMI 2.1 devices (I need three for my PS5, PC and Xbox Series C).
If you don’t have more than two devices that can use 120/144 Hz mode, then they’re equally good.
Hi Brian, what are your settings on black myth wukong on the 4090? Thanks for covering the z95A!
Would the Z95 work well as a monitor for a Mac Mini? I will be buying a Mac Mini and need a monitor. Thanks
Only because we're also interested in the interface and smart home connection. How does the TV do with the operating system? Is it laggy? Does it have great smart home features? Just because those are also things that we look at and we've been spoiled by the LG TVs having all that integrated really well as well
ua-cam.com/video/LzOCif5tHSM/v-deo.htmlsi=t8h8uxZWRTllapMj check out this interview with Panasonic which will definitely help answer your questions my friend
Is there any type of bfi in the motion clarity settings?
There are clear settings
Looks really good thru your video, like better than usual. Have you upgraded any capture equipment recently?
Gradients in shadows looks really smooth.
So is sonys processing for an accurate image above this in your opinion? Kinda hard to say i guess when sony has the reference monitor, pretty much defaults to sony.
If Panasonic goes QD-oled and drops that crazy japan price, it's over! Samsung will have to dolby vision and improve all round. The lg would have to pholed or qd OLED, Sony would have to drop the crap and step their game up all round. I love where we're headed!
Looks good, as usual from Panasonic ... BUT, its an awful lot of money, to enjoy that picture quality. Dont know if that will fly anymore with folks in 2024. $3000+ for an 55 inch (w)oled is crazy.
Hey BRAIN < 😆 I got a 77 inch C2 and want a G4. But the 83 inch is still pricey. Should I get the 77 inch G4? would the MLA be enough of an upgrade for it to be worth it?
Brain LOLOLOL🤣
Hopefully, on the 25 models they get rid of the speakers. Seems like they would have to if they want a 77 inch model.
Hey man, when are you gona review the Z85a? I’ve been waiting for so long it seems! Haha
But after a lot research, it looks like the Samsung S90D (the QD-oled version) seems like the best bang for the buck oled. Can you comment which tv you would prefer? I wouldn’t be gaming on the tv, it would be strictly for movie watching. It would be replacing my ZT60 plasma. Thanks
Panasonic all the way.
A fried Had 3 Samsung in 2 years bc every Samsung dies after a Shirt time and lagged af😂
I’m assuming there will be a review as far as sports, cinema and sdr viewing goes?
That's in the main review my friend which is on the channel
I am waiting to see how the Panasonic Z95A does with the problems that people are having with pixels dying out after a few years. LG and Samsung are having those issues and I can't see sinking over $2 or $3k on a TV for it to start doing that in a couple of years.
I've had oleds for years and have no issues with pixels dying
That's promising. But I've read and seen a lot about it. I think it stems from people cranking the brightness all the way up and leaving it that way.
I HAVE A LG QNED 85T AND IM NOT.HAVEING THAT PROBLEM NOT AT ALL. AND I DO PLAY MY TVS ALL NIGHT LONG
Does this TV look more or less identical to the G4 in gaming?
@Icipher4 no they are quite different. The G4 is brighter with more HDR impact. The Z95A is more detailed
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY thank you.
Which TV gets brighter the Samsung S90D or this Tv?
The S90D and Z95A are about the same. Not quite as bright as the S95D or G4. Thank you for watching
Can the z95a show the actual framerate in game mode? 🤔
Yes
c'est true game et tone mapping picture le mieux
Mr Duck lips! 🤣
Lol
@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Brian, you a kb+m or controller guy on pc?
I actually do both, my friend! Although gaming on a tV from the couch is definitely easier on a gamepad
Is it a QDOLED
No. It has MLA
No fps display counter ?……damm.
Omg vertical banding is so visible in this oled on sky and gray even in recording video on youtube. On real life most be even worse! I keep my A95k Sony that have a clean image quality and my model in EU out from factory in 2024/02 so i have 3 gen qd-panel 👍
The Panasonic clear the Panel after the first 2 refreshes. I had 3 little lines after my first Session the Panel was Clean af
DOA
Ok
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY not to take away from your excellent TV overview - well done as always Brian! Keep up the good work.
@whitecrowuk575 appreciate it, my friend 😁thank you for being here
@@whitecrowuk575. Great channel isn’t iit. Fomo- Brian combined is an exponential effect as well.
i still run latetest call of duty at 4k 144 fps with 5 years old pc gear lol ps 5 wont do it hardware based only software (meaning downgraded resoltion)
sorry but consoles dont dont do true 144hz high res (2k or 4k ) they dont have the hardware for it its software based downgrading the detail to give you the perfomance. you dont understand between discrete video card (seperate video card) most pcs vs APU accelerated video processor in console meaning video onboard with cpu. meaning you need shared ram to run it. have i lost you yet lol. I can understand why some users may find some of the numbers above alarming. It's not necessarily true of Sony's first-party efforts, but many games are running at low resolutions on the standard PlayStation 5, with FSR 2 upscaling pushed too far in attempting to hit 1440p or 4K outputs. However, already we can see that the upscaling quality of PSSR lacks many of the profound issues we've noted when FSR 2 is running at very low resolutions. It's early days, it's not perfect, but there's grounds for optimism.
Based on our testing, Alan Wake 2 runs at 864p internal resolution on PlayStation 5 Pro in the 60fps clip, while the equivalent base PS5 mode operates at 847p. Firstly, we can safely assume that in transitioning from FSR 2 upscaling to PSSR, we will see a substantial quality upgrade. However, perhaps more important is to consider what Remedy will be doing with the Pro's extra resources in increasing quality elsewhere because obviously, the extra GPU horsepower in the Big Three is going to beI can understand why some users may find some of the numbers above alarming. Very informative comment however thats why my testing 144hz on PC not console. Thank you so much for watching
Still think the S90D is the king
😂
Samsung TROLL detected 😮😮😮
65 inch only? That can't be serious. Not for the US, for sure.
Sorry I don't believe what is directory means in games is one big bulshit 🤔🥴 to sell you expensive TV
this is the bed years of the tv i ever seen in my life the TV is so expensive and not so good
useless tv just like the g4.... qd_oled is the best in the market and only a fool would say otherwise
