We are so frustrated by the instructions and the video and have spent 2 hours already and don't even have the wood wall board in yet. We cannot turn the 3" wood holes into the white board any further by just drilling the 1/8" inch pilot hole in the white board. The screws are now stuck and protruding about 1/2" out of the white board.
I purchased a patio door set from Steves and Sons that was defective. They sent a rep out to the house to inspect it. He confirmed the defects and said someone would come out to fix it. No one ever came. This was almost two years ago. I have emailed the customer service without a response. I called the customer service and they places me on hold without ever coming back. The doors come with a ten-year warranty that is up to this point worthless. I will take the matter up with HomeDepot corporate as I am still waiting.
