I really wasn't expecting much dance wise but this is I think the best I have seen from her. I think the music suits her. And her tumbling incredible, love her fast twisting Silivas!
This is probably my favorite FX right now. I am not a Jade fan AT ALL. I appreciate the crisp tumbling, and the lack of flailing arms counting as choreography. I could not pick the non tumbling stuff, but this has evolved from yuck to I'm so happy for her.
@@lilbatz same here. Not at all her fan but her improvement is evident. She just needs to learn to soften her upper body a bit, specially in the second half of her routine. But I liked her going down to her knees at first and when she drops down later. Nice touches well synchronized with the music. Her final pose could be better though.
The music this year is a HUGE improvement over the last 2 years. Makes her posing “dance” seem a bit less obvious. Still just posing, no attitude or real artistry, but getting better!
I think this is basically the same routine that Jade just did today at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics that won her a GOLD Medal! BRAVO, JADE!!! Sooo proud of + happy for you, honey!!!! You earned it and much more for all your effort! 💞 And SHAME on NBC Sports (YT Channel for cutting out her BIGGEST + MOST DIFFICULT AERIAL combo!!! NBC did that on purpose to get folks to watch on Primetime + PeacockTV for RATINGS + MONEY! (U have to PAY for PeacockTV!) Guess what, NBC, we AINT gunna give u our $$$!

Outstanding athlete with amazing power but still lacking artistry in the Sanne and Eythora sense. She is amazing, don.t get me wrong, but she needs to improve artistry and a better music/choreography for the Olympics. (Btw same for Mykayla and several of the US team members with amazing tumbling skills but very poor dance/artistry).
Since when does choreography/musicality and dance count for more than scraps? No reason to bust your behind learning dance when you see Biles with a monster D score pulling in medals. (I do love Sanne and Eythora, though)
Enjay Nicolay i agree. The name of the game is gymnastics. So I would try to pull the biggest stunts possible to keep up with Simone. But right now, only Sunisa, Trinity and Riley dancing abilities stand out.
Unhappily it isn't easy to perform 8 skills in 1:30 and still develop a proper choreo, specially when you're not rewarded for it. But I think Jade still has room to improve some dance and musicality between the skills, like all other girls in these last two Quads are trying, even if it's not a choreo in the proper meaning (like Melnikova, for example).
It is a crime to put this choreo into that music. Great tumbling as usual. Ponor's interpretation is waaaaaaaay better. Maybe she likes Catalina and tried to pay some tribute to her... Cool
I like her, she’s a phenomenal gymnast but gosh... she’s so boring to watch on this event. The choreography is nonexistent, it’s literally a pose, and then another pose, and then another one until the routine is over.

I’m not a fan. Sure her tumbling is impressive and her leaps are high. But an artistic gymnast she is not. So boring to watch someone who is dead behind the eyes. She should be a competitive tumbler.
I wonder if the moors is gone permanently? She does it so well it would be a shame. She is in desperate need of a choreographer who can show her something other than posing because there is no actual dancing in this whatsoever.
She's been training a triple-double (a la Simone). Given the difficulty of the skill (greater than the Moors), it would ideally be the first pass. The first pass here would likely be moved to the second pass. I would be surprised if she did the Moors anymore.

As she can't dance, she could try songs that enable her to do straight dance movements like zamolotchkova's or Afanasieva's songs and dances...
