December is the best season for Texas. 12 high school state championship games at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Those days are so hyped, they have to open up the second deck to accommodate the crowd. You got to grow up in Texas to experience it. Some of the high school stadiums have x-ray machines now.

It made me appreciate the high school stadiums better. PV has a much better stadium now, but it sucked knowing our college football stadium was worst than a high school stadium.

There were games that were 110% full (not even exaggerating, and I think the lowest that I saw (at the beginning) was probably 40% and that was only in early winter against a Canadian football team, since no one else would play us

I played in a pretty popular rec league from k-8 till high school and we got a few chances to play in the local college stadium (sec team) it was awesome I remember later going down south for some massive tournaments we were a part of. When they said we were playing at local high school stadiums I was upset and disappointed… until we arrived at the stadium… I was absolutely humbled by the money these schools poured into their sports departments.
