    I just bought one and so far I’ve made chocolate chip cookies, Italian chicken with Alfredo pasta in the bottom, grilled cheese sandwiches, Jamaican jerk pork chops with Caribbean rice . So far it all turned out great and was super easy to clean up.

      Sounds great! I was wondering how the alfredo pasta would be in this. I was thinking of making some for lunch I know I had made some in the Speedi but not yet in the combi. Did your Grilled cheese brown nicely and what setting did you put that one? Yes I agree the clean up is super great! I think you are new here is there anything you might want to see here on my channel?

    I bought the Ninja Combi in September. I already have a big steam oven, but couldn’t resist. I made several dishes. Hash brown casserole was really good. Seems, simple, but it toasts croissants perfectly. I always enjoy seeing what you cook.

    I just got the combi oven and I love it. I also got the dutch oven accessory for it and it works great as a slow cooker, as there are only two of us it works out really good for us. I really like all of the Ninja products. I have the Ninja Speedi and the Woodfire Grill and the Indoor Grill as well, I love all of there products. I'm sure you will love the Combi oven to, once you get used to it. Just wish Ninja would come out with a cookbook for it. Take care and stay safe, from Preskitt, AZ

      Good to know! I saw the dutch oven after I saw someone talking about it. I really wish Ninja would have more videos on things and cook books that they made or have the people they give products to let them know what they made. I know I am in a cook book for Freeze drying so I know it can happen. What yummies have you made Robert? Yes I am with you on Ninja making more recipes available and maybe a cookbook for us, that would be nice. I'm sure someone will make one in the near future at least I hope so. The combi also makes toast surprisingly well to. I am still learning with it. I really like all of the Ninja products that I have. Yes I am new to your channel and am enjoying it. I hope you will do more easy to use down home recipes for us. Just two of us here and we just eat simple meals nothing complicated. Take care and stay safe. @@nessasnook

      There is just the 2 of us also Robert and I am one of the laziest cooks maybe why I have soo many gadgets. I work from home, but I still like to have dinner cooked at a certain time. Things are a lil wonky this week my hubby took on his new job and his hours have changed drastically so I have to re arrange my cooking habit times. I try my very best to have SIMPLE, fast, easy and tasty meals that most people even without the gadgets can make. I am not a fan of paying for high price stuff and that includes food. I mean there are times a meal will cost more, but I try to make it as inexpensive as I can. Thanks for being here!

    Hey there, did you found a fitting splatter shield for it? And when which one do u use? :)
    PS: What kinda thing is it above your oven? It doesn’t look like a conventional hood. 😅🤓

    • @nessasnook
      @nessasnook  3 місяці тому +1

      No I didn't I bought one but didn't fit and that is my whirlpool microwave it's shorter since I can in my canners and that 23 qt would touch the microwave I wish we didn't even have one but the hubs still likes it. I hope that helps

      @@nessasnook aaaah, it’s a lower hight microwave… I thought something like that but US kitchens are a bit different then European ones and here no one has an microwave above the oven 😅
      But thank you for the quick reply - then I guess, I have to order also some shields and figure out which will fit or I will buy a round one at least and lock into position by myself with an metal wire or so…

    • @nessasnook
      @nessasnook  3 місяці тому

      IF you find a shield PLEASE let me know!!!! Yes I think they are getting away from the microwaves over the stoves now a days in remodels and new build. I would not have one if I had my way about it. I do like to use for like butter for 10 seconds but ya not a reason in my eyes for one. I take it your over season somewhere?

      @mickeymaus1 3 місяці тому +1

      @@nessasnook I will do - I guess I will order 2-3 different ones on eBay/amazon and hopefully will find at least one, which is easy to keeping in place by an workaround
      Hmm, here we never had it above the stove, usually we have a exhaust hood there. Microwaves are in most common ways placed separated or integrated in the kitchen unit (which is more expensive of course) and at all this kinda slime ones weren’t typically here.

    I noticed when you held up the instruction booklet for the combi showing the boxed cake insrucrions, it said to set the combi timer for 17 minutes.
    But you set the combi timer for 34 minutes per the box for the cake mix.
    Later you said the cake actually was done in less time.
    Was the cake done in the 17 minutes the instruction booklet said to set the timer to?

    • @nessasnook
      @nessasnook  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes, I believe so. I must of missed that while trying the cake. At 1st if you dont have a combi yet or 1st thing I made using it I was kind of nervous. I have noticed on all the things I have cooked since it takes a lot less time than normal to get very good results. I am feeling a lil more comfy with the combi now but I am not much of a baker and have not re tried a cake yet.

    @scotthoward6070 2 місяці тому +1

    I am in no way a great cook. I have done a few cakes in the combi and I started putting foil over the top of the cake when the bake cycle starts. Otherwise the top of the cake has to much of a crust on the top. It makes the cake a lot easier to eat with out making a mess of it.

    • @nessasnook
      @nessasnook  2 місяці тому

      VERY good to know as I am not a baker myself. I dont like using foil is there another way to do this without foil?

    • @scotthoward6070
      @scotthoward6070 2 місяці тому +1

      @@nessasnook It's not possible to use the top pan to block the high heat because it sits to low. The cake will rise in to the bottom. of the pan. I think foil is the only option. It is a little tricky to do. I wrap the foil on the pan front to back. That way the foil doesn't get in the way of the slots when the lower pan gets slid in. The top coils on the combi get so hot. That is why the top of cakes get so over cooked. It makes it hard to eat with a fork.
