Thanks tduk, I use this now for the app Ivacy mobile version on my shield. You need mouse toggle. Mobile version Ivacy it’s better than android tv version.
Turn on USB debugging and connect via USB cable to the box using your phone, tablet, or computer; download an ADB shell, input the device IP, then simply type the command and hit enter

Has anyone else noticed that this seems to be temporary, at best? I keep having to type the command back in, reopen set orientation, and then it will start working again. (For a while.) And, of course, mouse toggle is still broken!!! Thanks Nvidia!!! 😒
the adb command to reverse that command given in the video is REPEAT THE STEPS but use disabled instead of enabled this shuld revert the command. Note!!! that you may have to clear the cache of the apps that you forced into landscape mode with the method as given in the video. some apps try to remember the last orientation setting
I was able to fix it by forcing stop rotation app and clearing cache and restart the app so thanks again for all your hard work it is greatly appreciated

Kool did not work on malware bytes it opened it sideways. Reopened and set on landscape sensor that worked.
