Lego shall do more of this on technic, less brand loyalty, more playability and creativity
AMEN! Personally I agree on this for the other theme sets as well.
More $1000 sets!!! Oh sorry, that's not what you wanted?
100% agree. Not only in technic but in system aswell
Glad to see the sub. Technic + unlicensed = awesome!
I'm finding that I enjoy these smaller Technic sets more than the larger ones. I feel like they are both fun to build, but while the large ones have a few neat functions I mess with before confining them to a shelf, the small ones I find myself picking up and fiddling with a lot more often. This one seems to be in the same vein as the small rover & stunt buggy from last year, which seems very promising. I think this and the Ducati are my go-to sets this wave
McLaren Speedtail could make use of the sand blue fenders. Since Lego chose the P1 for their large supercar model, it leaves the Speedtail as a potential smaller model, and the most iconic paint scheme of that car is a bluish silvery colour, which would match these parts
The colour also looks similar to the ‘launch edition’ McLaren Senna, but we already have a Senna GTR in this scale, so I’d say the Speedtail could be a good option/candidate
Despite the more modern pieces, something about this set's shaping and color choices makes it _feel_ like something from the 90s or early 2000s.
We're not quite back to the days of roboriders and cyberslam yet but any step outside of endless stream of licensed sports cars is a win in my book
You're not wrong - Reminds me of the LEGO Aquanauts from the mid 90s, some of my favorites growing up.
No pneumatic functions this time around, though. Shame.
@@0509kj I really hope they do a remake of one of the Aquazone sets like they've been doing with Blacktron
I like this one; it's pretty much Technic in its purest and undiluted form with the focus on functions first and foremost. It may not be the prettiest looking model but it's definitely the most interesting one we've seen in a long while as underwater type crafts are very rarely done in this theme. For context, the last time we got a Technic based submarine was back in 1997 as the main build; there was one from 2017 as part of the Ocean Explorer ship but it was one of the side builds.
I actually think this model is quite pretty
If Lego is continuing their partnership with Koenigsegg, that colour is a near identical match for the blue on the Regera. Or the McLaren Speedtail
Koeniggseg was also my first thought.
Of all 2025 Technic sets I actually find this one the most interesting.
This kind of set makes the lack of Technic figures painfully obvious.
Even by technic standards this set looks empty and lonely lmao
That colour blue arch I say would work well for a Porsche
Kinda looks like sally carrera
could be an aston martin, porsche, jaguar or mclaren
this is a great little set with cool functions
Based on the speculation on Eurobricks, my bet is that the re-colored mudguards will be used for 42208 Aston Martin Valkyrie.
Really cool set. As a kid it would be on my wishlist for Christmas.
Looks like I know what 2025 Technic set I'll be getting! Amazing stuff here, finally some unlicensed set focused on playability and featuring the new alternating hole beams too.

Definitely want to see more like this. Reminds me of the old Aquanauts sets!
That's so cool. So much coolness for the price.
A technic submarine is actually an unique idea. Loved it
Very nice! I don’t really collect much Technic outside of the $10-$13 sets, but this is nice and full of play! The price isn’t too bad either, though it will be better with a discount.
Love the colour combo of this submarine
That's gotta be for the larger scaled Nissan Skyline R34 in silver with the blue strips from F&F!
Love this set, will likely buy it.
Love the theory crafting.....The color reminds me of Toyota cavalry blue
Super cool!
Hyundai N?
The coloring and sticker design reminds me of '00s era Lego. Sadly I don't think we'll see a return to form when we would get interesting original themes every couple years, especially with the way prices are going.
This set looks cool, I reminds me of older technic sets
It's clearly sand blue because it's part of Lord Garmadon's Shark Army! ;-)
I really like the look of the set, might grab one in the New Year.
The first thing I thought when I saw those arches in that color was the Bugatti Tourbillon. Or maybe the McLaren Speedtail.
This set rivals the Dune Ornithopter for features! 😊
I think it could be the 2024Toyota Land Cruiser? The new one have it's hero color close to Sand Blue iirc.
The Gulf Porsche 917 from the 70's is almost exactly that color.
The sand blue looks similar to the ‘launch edition’ McLaren Senna, but since we already have a Senna GTR in this scale, I’d say the Mclaren Speedtail could be a good option/candidate
That sand blue would be perfect for the Dacia Sandero
James May would love it
Nice vid 👍
For a car with sand blue, I think the McLaren Speedtail would be cool
For the recolor: Sand Blue is quite the muted color, so I think it fits best to luxury cars. Think Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Maybach, or whatever other brand some more knowledgeable people will mention.
what a nice video i luk how you revieuw lego sets
the new sand blue color would do wonders for a mclaren senna
The sand blue would be perfect for a road version of McLaren Senna
finally something different from cars and trucks!
I like it. 👍🏻
Corvette e-ray for the technic recolor
Great set. That price though...yeah as an unlicensed set it's worth about half the retail price.
Why do i have the feeling im early
Me too
Yes, same thought 😂
ask your doctor, im sure she can take care of it 😏
Love it
Rumous are saying 42208 is a Valkyrie, So far no rumours of a C8 recolour launching so likely the sand blue will be for the Valkyrie as rumoured price puts it as part of the car transporter gang. That said the 2F2F R34 has also popped up rumoured as 42210 but the rumoured price of $139 would say it's at the larger scale Dom's charger os sp wpi;d ne imlikely to use that mudguard
Hey Racing brick just saying it would be cool if we got a 4000 piece speedtail
that colour would work well for the mclaren speedtail
the new car could be the 2002 porsche carrera, that was modelled after Sally
Mclaren speedtail would be cool. But sand blue looks similar to a nardo grey, so we can except audi or non-licensed wagon
Awesome set. If it came out earlier, I would ask it for Christmas!
Lego pls make a biger sub with these colors
Car wise got to be Lamborghini Temerario, it was revealed in that colour
Could be the Bugatti Tourbillon? Sand blue is the closest match to the front half of the show car, I think.
That would be the 42208 Aston Martin Valkyrie
I would say it could be a Aston Martin Valkyrie.
Is this set alraday avaleble
This feels like a old Lego technic set
Off topic: How can I, as a watcher, trun off the automatic audio track selection? I watch video in multiple languages and don't to let videos switch to my standard language. Does anyone know how to do that?
I thought the old Corvette Stingray had this colour.
Could it be the new Bugatti Tourbillon? It's launch spec was similar to that colour...
At first I thought this color could fit a ford bronco, but the wheelarches are the wrong shape. So now I'm stumped
colour looks similar to the launch specs for the McLaren Senna / Speedtail or 911 S/T (not sure on this with the 992 GT3 apparently getting a SC set?)
New sand blue look like the Gulf colors livrery. Why not a Porsche 917 tribute in same scale of Ford GT or 1/10 like 9x8...
What about a McLaren speedtail to ?
So glad they didn’t make the titan sub otherwise sales would have imploded
This set can be much better. Proportions of the submarine are strange, the grabber is too big. The only one feature i like is moving engines
It looks like a ball made of moving parts.
i think it should be better with regular blue instead of this sand blue.
can it be a panda 🤩 a technic panda 4x4 (offset wheels with extended wheel arches (no chance 😂 (very iconic grayish blue tho…
🎵 Can it go underneath? That's the question. Underneath the water? That's the question. 🎵
Anything can go in the water... Once. 😅
Yes. But it won't come up again.
I was hoping for these panels to be DBG - don't these wheel arch panels exist in DBG ?
These curved ones only exist in lime and orange, as they were new in the small Lamborghini
Sand blue range rover? Another defender?
Ioniq 5 N
To me the new car is a Pagani.
For the sand blue car it might be a Ferrari F12 TDF or a 296 gtb as we did not get any Ferrari yet in this format and those cars are quite often in this blue color or gray ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Neat Technic build but not quite right for my collection....
Porsche 911 S/T ?
might be
Why is it still expensive if it is unlicensed.!!😢😭
2f2f nissan r34 gtr
I can already see a white one ln the future 😆
The design looks so messy 😢
i'm not a huge fan of the looks buyt i might have to vote with my wallet on this one. this set is a step in the right direction for technic imo
This is a great review, thanks for making this one first! This set also aligns well with the FIRST Robotics Underwater game Challenges. My Kids are in FIRST Lego League,. and this Years challenge theme is called "Submerged" and they need to use Spike Prime to program a "Submarine" . ua-cam.com/video/hCEp4mQ6bVk/v-deo.html
This set is really nice but the price is ridiculous. 400 pieces for $40???? And its not even license so whats the justification for that price? The shelby, the Koenigsegg, lambo, bugatti were all around $50 but had 600 - 800+ pieces. (And they were still overpriced imo)
This set should only cost like $20 - $30
0:39 how dare you cut the box instead of pushing on the thumb tabs lego would like to have a word you lol
New here?
@@JiuJitsuGuy24 no I've been watching for 4 years maybe 5
pls bro make the small LEGO Technic backhoe loader and the the small LEGO Technic mini skid steer plss bro make it !!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
He has
i cant even understand your name with subs
You perfectly know that we're all waiting for F1 cars!!! Release those, not some random submarine!!!
I perfectly know that the majority of commenters wanted to see the submarine first. F1 cars will follow.
