Sad that so much great music goes unnoticed by multitudes of so called listeners. It's OK by me if people listen to Miley Cyrus and her ilk, but I wish people were listening to some serious singer/ songwriters too.
Glad you enjoyed it. I think it was George Snow who taped the show and sent copies to various Pattyfans, myself included. I only uploaded the files, but I don't think it's available from other sources.
This song moves me, my best friend Lorraine and I , our first trip to Florida, hitchhiking on A1A...singing our heads off. Nostalgic song for me. I NEED to sing this song with my guitar if only I can do with without crying along...it reminds me of my careless youth, its so sweet, yet heartbreaking how time passes but never erases the so special days in our lives...(I stayed..she returned home back in the snow)
Helped me when caring for my grandfather the last few months of his life. With the dementia on top of the cancer he was just tired of fighting. I cried nearly everyday trying to keep hanging on for him but literally felt like I was drowning. This song helped.
Another of the magnificent Patty Griffin's under appreciated gems.

Please share your favorite underappreciated gems. I'd love to know more.

+Niranjan Aswale I uploaded the entire concert, but had to do it in 2 or 3 song segments.
I was here, great show. It was free and in a park.
Brilliant stuff from one of American's great singer-songwriters.
This was an awesome experience! Just sorry I missed meeting her afterwards when she chatted with people in town hall.

Both of them are but Florida is possibly her saddest song ever in my opinion. That chorus guts me.
