- 2022 - The closest year we have come to quitting. Rising costs of travel and still finding venues that hate the sight of a video camera after all that the last few years has taught us has been a frustrating one. A quiet year if you didn't go to Oulton Park as they did a good job at replicating the Brands Hatch destruction this season. We spent most of the year chasing bikes and rallying as the circuit scene has gotten pretty stale. A pattern it looks to continue in 2023 except slightly more boring somehow (we did twice as many circuit events as oval stuff this year yet we struggled to find any circuit stuff good enough beyond the 30 minute mark!). 85 Motorsport events. 55 Weekend events. Remove the 11 bike ones (that video is tomorrow) and it's all here.
In 2022 we got to:
Shelsley Walsh (Won't be doing that again)
Pembrey
Mallory Park
Cadwell Park
Silverstone
Donington Park
Castle Combe
Standlake Arena
Skegness Raceway
Odsal Stadium
Evesham (John Wilkin Raceway)
Moortown/North Shropshire
Blyton Park/Scunthorpe
Oxton
3 Sisters (Questmead Stages)
East Riding Stages
Riponian Rally
Epynt (Mewla Rally)
Haye Park (Woodpecker Rally)
Grizedale Stages
Deenethorpe (Colin Ellmore Memorial Rally)

I'll never forget Malcolm Harding firing up his Escort after rolling and carrying on, utterly brilliant.
That Mark Chilton Skyline crash always makes me wince too ☹️.
Possibly the most legendary moment of the decade already.
And the Chilton Skyline shunt was pretty horrible to see as that was one of my personal favourites on the UK circuit scene because its not driven like a museum piece. Got some fantastic footage of that with a slow motion camera a few years ago at Mallory. I hope he comes back with something else
Agree about the Skyline. Sent chills down my spine, that one.
Guesing it was a brake failure, hence him not slowing down or locked brakes?
@@peterhowe547 seemed that way. 1 of 2 caught this year at redgate alone
A great compilation, as always! Thank you for providing the best coverage of UK club racing!
That R32 skyline crumpled like nothing, scary.
Good to see a varied selection of motorsports esp the stock cars.
Great quality footage, broad selection of racing, new subscriber keep up the great content 🚗💨
0:48 hurt my soul....... Good to see cars being used to do what they are made for but mannn that sucks
Caught that first one better than the TV cameras from what ive seen in other crash videos. Mini parts makers must have made a fortune this year lol
Very enjoyable. 85 events is insane you must be at a track for a quarter of the year!!
When I hit 100 events in a season I'll have considered this hobby completed😂
Nice vid! Filming motorsport can be tricky sometimes, especially circuit racing. Some of the stories I've heard and realities I've experienced about doing so at a certain (extremely long) race track over here are close to unbelievable. In addition, quite a few series/events, both in circuit racing and rallying, have been losing a significant amount of entries, making them almost not even worth going to. I hate to be a downer but this is the reality at the moment. I'm hoping for a better 2023. Perhaps I'd find watching motorsport (even) more fun if I just restricted myself to events that are definitely worth going to, as there are definitely still some gems out there!
That looks like brake failure for the Nissan skyliner the way it didn’t slow down for a corner ahead
Man i miss watching Autograss racing, used to go to the York club back in the late 80's early 90's, remember my two faves Y13 (MK2 Astra) and Y9 (Special)
Knowing autograss they're more that likely still competing!
@@PescaraProductions Yup, planning a trip up to York this summer and while up there going to see about watching some Autograss racing =D
A certain driver in this compilation seems to be quite adept at getting into at least 1 clip every year...
There's a couple of people that I can say have been in a video every year since 2016!
@3:19. The shell Helix car, Is that an old Supercar from Australia??
I believe so. There is about 3 or 4 ex V8 Supercars racing in various Tin Top series over in the UK.
Does Rik Wood still have his Holden Commodore?
How the hell did an Au Falcon make it to the uk?
0:05 that’s a spectacular roll by the mini
1:30 look how close that Mini came from rolling over
Get down on the floor🎵🎶
Carlos milos🤣🤣
Cudos to the camera men and marshals.
What on earth are those things at the .40 mark?!
Nice to see some racing we don't see much. Auto grass and Briscar
Another fantastic year, well done Mr P!
Anything new planned for 2023?
Well one will be in France, that much I can tell you. You doing Civil War at Hendy?
@@PescaraProductions You going to that random indoor dirt banger race where they roll over more cars in one race than most do in ten seasons? lol
And yeah I'll be at Hednesford, nothing else to do in Jan is there?
@@cdname47 I thought they stopped that after the first year didn't they lol
Any stuff from goodwood this year
😂😂 The estate car got pummelled
Great stuff Phil !
2:55 look at the mess that tyre wall is
That poor r32 gtr being enjoyed for what it was built for but sad to see it'd breaks fail and plow into tyres like that
Good thing they had mini spares
6:53 reminds me of GTA5 when cars get smooshed
7:29 assume this car is sponsored by a demolition company
10:25 all that pub banter about aero this and dampers that...only to attempt a superman move around the outside of an already spinning car, why.
9:12 this is almost like bumper cars
aha !Nice vid!
Mini spares is now 🤣
Of all car sales I expected to see in this, a Dick Johnson Racing Galcon and a Bathurst R32 Nissan Skyline were certainly not them
If you watch the clip with DJ's Falcon, right at the very end I'm sure I spotted a VB/C/K Commodore sneak past right at the bottom of the screen.
At o.51 bruh he could of saved it 😮
No not the mini booper 0:01
Why did it have to be the Skyline
7:45 - who on earth allowed the racing to even go ahead? Literally lakes on track
it’s racing. it’s not a sport for people who are scared to do stuff 🤷♂️
@@dsqluke I get that but there's a point where scared becoming potential life threatening dangerous for everyone involved.
@@dsqlukeF1 Suzuka 2014. That’s what can happen if you ignore awful weather conditions.
@@anusername8350 you’re a little late hro 😭😭
@@dsqluke my point still stands
I just noticed, the thumbnail has a 1999 dick Johnson V8 Supercars. Interesting stuff!
A Zakspeed Escort ETCC car being flipped by a Dick Johnson V8 Supercar. Only in Britain!
@@PescaraProductions sheesh…
Spencer…what on earth??
😅
6:16 sepang clash
😂😂
I full of goods car and bad incident
Rip Nissan Skyline R32
Banger racing is not motorsport. Hilarious but not motorsport.
Sport Police..?
It's racing using a motor vehicle
It's a motor sport you twit
The're published rules for it
Great stuff Phil !
