My favourite hack to keep my very large Antique Kilim style rugs clean and smelling fresh. l put lavender mop liquid into my bucket. Then l sweep briskly in sections changing the water as soon as it looks grey l change the water several times, but that just shows how clean the rug is every time l do this. . My beautiful old large rugs look very clean, and smell of lavender. l wish ld thought to do this years ago !
@SusanTips For the first time someone has a video, (I know that there are a lot of good videos on YT with helpful ideas.) but your video really does have GOOD helpful hints. Ex. the wet combing of a much used broom with bristles that have gone astray. Is a good idea. I am sorry to say that I wish your idea was known to me earlier this year. Because I threw away a broom with bristles that look just like that. Thank you and keep the ideas coming. I will subscribe to your channel.
Thats not the way to take disposible gloves off. You should close fingers over the palm and turn first glove off inside out. Screw it up and place in the palm of the other hand and remove second glove inside out over it. This way no foreign or soiled matter escapes.

It’s ignorant at best to suggest to people to use even more disposable plastic. By 2050 there will be more plastic, by weight, then fish in our oceans. They’ve even found a single use plastic shopping bag recently at the bottom of the Mariana trench. About 98% of the plastic ever manufactured is still lying around in the environment, unrecycled. It’s all green washed, not recycled. Companies are t taking responsibility for it. It’s inorganic, so even when it breaks down, it’s still giving off forever chemicals like PFAS, hormone disrupters, phthalates, and it’s still there as nano particles snd microparicles…. And three fourths of it is in wild places both on land and at sea. Your disposable gloves look just like squid to ocean life and seafaring birds. It kills them and their babies. And about half the municipalities in the world don’t have a viable plan for waste disposal. When you think, in good faith, that you’re depositing plastic to be recycled in store depositories, you should know that a group of journalists recently attached over 40 trackers to it, snd some of it ended up as far away as Indonesia and Malaysia, in illegal dumps right next to rice paddies and fish cuitures, where people live. The businesses that offer you recycling don’t really know where it goes after it’s taken to its first destination. I researched it myself. They told me they don’t know. Please be more conscientious in your advice, and educate yourself.
