- In this tutorial, we're going to talk about how to kill the room noise (aka undesirable reverb and echo) with the Waves Clarity Vx DeReverb plugin. This is the most effective plugin I've tried for removing reverb, echoes and unprofessional room acoustics from your recordings.

Where would you put this in signal chain if you're going to use other vocal plugins.like a waves multiplugin? Makes sense to use first but it would come before compression
This might just work. My last two songs have a RHCP style vocal and the echo gave the exact effect heard on your vocals. It not only muddied it up, its also created issues with pitch correction software like Melodyne.
Good to see you back! Wouldn't make it even more sense to put it before your analog chain instead of after?
Definitely. The plugin wasn’t out when I mixed that session… thought it was good to know it’s effective even after the analog processing brought out the room!

@@saschadenzer6339 Its a heavy degradation of the signal quality, in this case Its just the presets with noise reduction pushed all the way in that gonna give you that sound but when you hear tupac vocals in solo Its not the recording, Its processed to separate stems for the vocals and most of the times with bad tools thats why It sound like that

Why would you get this if you already have the clarity vx
Yeah, I was surprised it worked on that
Clarity Vx is for general noise reduction (preamp noise, hiss, background noise). This is much more focused and effective on acoustic issues / room treatment.

No. It’s much more specific to acoustic issues / room treatment than general noise suppression.

Waves still has the crappy update plan in place. Forget Waves
At least they got rid of that dumb subscription only service. Its nice to be able to buy one plugin like this but I'm not a fan of the whole wave central but im pretty sure they've also done away with that as well.
