    This video represents the spirit of how to make the best use of what simple hardware capabilities offer. I felt inspired to experiment with Volca Bass more and get creative about the ways I get on with it. Todd, your tutorials are as helpful as your jams are brilliant. Keep on rocking, dude.

    Great idea using the VCOs as pattern selectors. Never would've occurred to me to do that. Keep up the good work with the videos. I've just started doing tutorials for work and it's really daunting at first. So yeah, keep it up! Also, I'm jealous of your synth collection ;)

    I'm a bit late to the Volca party, but this was great. I've only had the time to play with mine for an hour or so after getting it out the box, and I was kinda thinking this would be possible with the different 'unison' modes for lack of a better term. Saved me having to trial and error my way into it! Thanks, off to check out the rest of the channel now.

    Thank you for taking your time, to explain. It inspires me to start as well. So I have 3 questions for you (and am open for any comment of your viewers:
    1. When I look at tutorials I never see 'where the sound is comming from': you are connected with pc? Some audio interface / mixer +speakers?
    2. if you could choose 3 Volca's to start: wich one would be a good combo (I like to make progressive - techno - ambient)
    3. is there a 'must have' equipment-wise, when start as beginner (daw-less)
    thank you kindly in advance for your time to answer and keep it up!

    • @KeyDyer
      @KeyDyer 3 роки тому +2

      Not sure this guys exact setup for question 1!
      But for volcas I’d say the Keys, Sample, and Bass personally! A lot of people really like the Drum as well, but might not be great as a first one.
      My must-have for Dawless is fx, even something like the korg nts-1, Especially if you’re into ambient stuff !
      Also something to record into, like a Zoom. I have a cheap version of one that I found on Amazon. Must have for recording dawless !

    Hey man, good tutorials you've got. Really well explained and to the point. Thank you for that.
    I am currently looking into getting my first Volca. I am thinking I'll go with a vKeys and then follow up with the Beats and hopefully the Bass down the line. I just love some of the sounds I have seen achieved in the vKeys polyphonic and unison modes. Any tips or words of wisdom you'd offer someone just getting into Volcas? I'm not necessarily looking to make any specific type of music, but I do love the sound of vintage synth chord progressions so I look forward to hopefully being able to do something similar.
    Keep up with awesome work on the videos!
