Yum! I add toasted seaweed cut up and it Really makes it taste like tuna! I also add capers instead of relish. And add some Vegan chicken seasoning - with pasta - deelicious Anywho, thought I'd share. Thank you for all the recipes and entertainment you have shared with us *all these years! ;D
This how I feel about a bowl 🥣 of corn flakes w/ a sprinkle of sugar and a banana 🍌 it takes me back to being at my Grandparents house during the summer while my parents were at work
It's so true!!! I'm very sensitive to smells in general and sometimes it brings back memories, and I feel like I'm living them all over again, it's just incredible!! Thank you for the recipe, I'm definitely trying it!
Interesting I was just thinking about this tonight❤…. Also was thinking about tuna salad. I was raised vegan but when I was older experimented with foods and ate tuna for awhile. The idea of eating it again grosses me out, I don’t have meat cravings or anything but tuna has sentimental value. Think I’ll get some provisions tmro😊
Thank you for doing this channel and being so fracking awesome I love this thank you for working so hard to make each one of your videos so amazingly filled with detail and inspiration to make more good meals like this for me and my family to eat meat freee and healthy
You know what's crazy about this video? Chic pea and tuna will never compare as having the same gastronomically based biochemical effects on physiology ....and therefore psychological experience.
but do you loooooooooooooove it more than your life? because thats how much the cow you are eating looooooooooooooves her life, just as much as you do. try to change your perspective when thinking about animal based foods and soon you wont put your taste buds above a life. we all start out there Ben, change is hard, but it needs to happen.
@@ottitudes I'm a chef, I can eat a meal without meat. I love my veg. I've been on plant based diets and enjoyed the food. I get your point of view. I don't like the thought of an animal being killed. I could never hurt an animal. But just see it from a carnivours way, people's been eating meat for thousands of years. Do people moan when a shark eats someone, or people getting eating by crocs or lions. We live to survive.
the difference is that a lion can't go to the grocery store and buy foods that support a plant-based diet. even if they could, their bodies aren't made for that. they *need* meat to survive. we have a choice, which is a beautiful thing!
@@SarahsVeganKitchen plus lions very rarely hunt. Like once a month or so. They don't need as much and only eat literally when they have to. So basically, much more sustainable than human behavior. Because, when you think about it...yes we eat when hungry. But are we really hungry? No. And snacking isn't something a lion knows. Or hunting for fun. They literally do it to survive. I hate the lion comparison for so many reasons bc it's just as false as it can be.
Aw I love hearing these memories in your shorts. Also I like that you show the actual jar/brand - it makes it feel like real home cooking
Yessss

I can get the flavor right but you cannot compare the texture. there are no hard bits in tuna
Run the chickpeas through the food processor. 👍
We call chickpeas beans even uncooked one as hummus ! I can not imagine hummus with Mayonnaise 🤢
Ummm garbanzo beans are used in tons of recipes besides hummus you swine. Dismiss yourself.
Yeah I was wondering about that too I think I would rather add plain Greek yogurt
Mam there’s no such thing… it’s just called chickpea salad
