    Looks pretty straight forward, definitely going to try this. Is there any specific cream cheese I'm supposed to use?

      Yup! Super straight forward and delicious! I used Philadelphia cream cheese but I'm sure it'll work with other brands of cream cheese too. Add lots and lots of cheddar too! Just posted a new Cheese Sticks video, check it out! 😄

    Can you make these with the air fryer instead of deep fat frying ?? And how long would it take ?

    • @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325
      @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325  2 роки тому

      Hey! I haven't tried yet, but I'm sure it'll work, I would say around 8-10 minutes in the airfryer at around 180C / 360F. Its always good to give them a stir/shake every few minutes. I'll let you know for sure once I tried it myself!

    Aren't these called "rattlesnake bites" at one of the major steakhouse chains? What I'm remembering has enough black pepper mixed in with the cheese to give it some extra bite.

  • @ginadisbrow9324
    @ginadisbrow9324 2 роки тому +2

    You didn't specify any additional seasonings like salt, pepper, etc., except for a pinch in the egg dip. Is that all that is required?

    • @seanc.miller1349
      @seanc.miller1349 Рік тому +2

      The cheese would have most of the saltiness.. you can add other seasoning to the breadcrumbs .. pepper, Cayenne pepper stuff like that

    • @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325
      @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325  Рік тому +1

      Hey Gina & Sean! The seasoning is as you like! Like Sean said the cheese is pretty salty and the jalapenos add a lot of flavour, but you can definitely add more seasoning if you like! Pepper and Cayenne pepper are great options, you can add herbs, garlic powder, anything you like! :)
      Just posted a new super cheesy - Cheese Sticks video and I used spicy chips instead of bread crumbs, which makes an amazingly flavourful coating! Thanks for watching, enjoy!

    Could you suggest an alternative to the egg coating please

    • @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325
      @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325  4 роки тому +5

      Sure, instead of the egg coating you could add water to the flour until its like a batter, and dip it in that and then into the breadcrumbs. You can also add some seasoning to it like salt, pepper, herbs, chili flakes for some extra flavor!

    How do u melt the cheese, I tried to waterbath it it didn’t go well 😂 idk if it’s the cheese I’m using is wrong I used a mozzarella ball and some shredded cheddar

    • @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325
      @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325  3 роки тому +2

      Hey! I used Philadelphia cream cheese that I left out of the fridge for about 10 min, so it was nice and soft along with some grated cheddar. If you're using dried aged mozzarella you can grate it too, but if it's a ball of mozzarella that's in water, it might have too much water inside it so you could squeeze out some of the water and then cut it into smaller pieces and put some grated cheddar around it to form a ball, or you could even just use mozzarella, cut it into larger pieces and either make mozzarella balls or sticks! I prefer to use stronger cheeses for something like this, cheddar, gouda etc. Mozzarella sticks can sometimes lack a little flavor but they sure have the coolest stringy cheesy texture when you tear them apart!
      I love cutting the ball of mozzarella into slices, alternate them with slices of tomato on a plate, drizzle some olive oil on top add some basil leaves, fresh, simple and perfect! 😁

    done this various ways the cheese keeps melting out of them how do I stop this?

    • @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325
      @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for your comments! 😄 It's most likely the flour + egg + chip/bread crumb coating, try to make a really thick double coating, this will ensure all the cheese stays inside and also makes it super delicious! Also, once you've made the cheese sticks or cheese balls, you can put them into the fridge for 10 minutes (before cooking them) so they're more firm and then put them into the hot oil. This might help the outer layer stay intact. Good luck!!

    One good advise for everyone, WEAR GLOVES WHEN YOU SEED JALAPEÑO PEPPERS!!!

    • @gj9736
      @gj9736 11 місяців тому

      @richarddimple7734 wearing gloves when de-seeding jalapeños has NOTHING to do with “being elderly” or sensitive skin, but has everything to do with common sense! You can still get the juice from a jalapeño on your skin when scooping with a spoon, been there, done that, it is not very pleasant if you forget later on on that you handled jalapeños when you touch your eyes for some reason, even after having washed your hands!

    • @gj9736
      @gj9736 11 місяців тому

      @richarddimple7734 sorry but even washing your hands afterwards will not get rid of all of the pepper. You must be an anomaly if you are not effected by getting pepper juice sprayed into your eyes, it burned the living tar out of mine!

    These aren't healthy in the slightest I know 😂 but keep the seeds in from the jalapeños, they contain all the nutrients

    • @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325
      @minimumeffortmaximumsatisf1325  3 роки тому +4

      Hi! Haha I'm usually quite healthy, but you're absolutely right, these are not! 🤣 But their deliciousness makes up for it! 😂 I sometimes remove the seeds so it's not too spicy but sure, the next time I make them, I'll keep the seeds in! Thanks for watching! 😁

    • @punkgrl325
      @punkgrl325 2 роки тому +1

      I’d initially leave the seeds in when using jalapenos because I thought it would make it spicier, but it just made it bitter 😅

  • @Happyhands-ex8uy
