I've skied a lot of resorts around the country and around the world. I'm pretty sure Copper is my current favorite. I loved this mountain! It has it all!
Copper is hands down the most underrated ski resort in the rockies. Its high elevation base means the snow keeps falling into the middle of may, which gives copper a magical “never summer” feeling like you can enjoy winter year round. The best part of copper is probably the small lift lines. A busy day at copper has shorter lift lines than a nearly empty day at breck. I have never waited longer than 4 minutes for a lift at copper, even on its busy days. Part of me wants to keep copper a secret, but i also want the owners and employees at copper to have lots of money, so im looking forward to the secret being spilled and copper undergoing a huge resurrection. Also, copper is building to s of 5 mil $$ homes up the side the mountain up on union creek, which i have a feeling is going to make copper one of the most coveted mountains by smart money jet setter ppl who know how good the actual mountain is.
Copper has different ability levels pretty well separated out which benefits everyone. Experts hate navigating around beginners, especially getting off lifts. Beginners are very uneasy around experts zooming by. Keystone's Schoolmarm is like that - basically a highway of mixed abilities since many runs start and end on it.
Going to Copper for our first time in March. Looking at the current map for Colorado Blvd. but don't see it. Has it been renamed? I can't figure it out. Looks fun!
Great video...but two scenes are NOT from Copper Mountain. Your have a shot of the Rocky Mountain and Colorado Superchair lifts from Breckenridge (at about 5:55)...and the statue of Ullr is in Breck (about 6:00 through 6:10)....both are NOT Copper. MIght be part of your standard clips for your series, so I understand. Just a few flaws in your editing. Otherwise the narrative is relatively accurate.
You're right, I skied Breck and Copper on the same trip and mixed up the footage. It took me a year and a bunch of comments to realize the mistake lol. I still stand by Copper being my favorite!

It’s been my fave ANYWHERE for many years.
Been my goto for the past 40 plus years. The owners have all done it right from day one. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Rich
Copper is probably the best mountain on the i70 corridor with ikon pass. It’s my favorite for sure. There’s nothing like it on a weekday
these reviews are always great...thanks Karl
Watching this after just getting to copper can’t wait to try!
I’m going tomorrow!!!!
Sure looks like Breckenridge 🙃near the end.
It’s only 15 miles from breckenridge
@@Une6sy the mountains are next to eachother pretty much but to drive its 15 miles
@@Mtb_5670 yeah that’s what I meant
@@Une6sy it’s literally Breckenridge, the statue of Ullr there is at the bottom of peak 8 at Breck.

It's still there. You have to look at the "copper bowl" map. Enjoy!
Coppers alright
Storm peak is a T-bar, not a J-bar.
Video in May? When exactly did you ski it?
It was mid-March
Nice but we got to see your skis, and we need to hear the snow on your edge, not music.
Bopper

Lol! At the end of your video, you show yourself skiing into Breck😂😂😮😮 Are YOU kidding me???
Do you not have ANY Colorado experts following you?
Lol, over a year later and I just rewatched and realized you're right. I mixed up that later clip.. Copper still rocks though.
