1월4일과 5일 이틀동안 지리산에 다녀왔습니다.
겨울답지 않은 따뜻한 날씨로 지리산 천왕봉에는 잔설만 남아있었습니다.
천왕봉 일출을 보기 위해서는 발걸음을 서둘러야 했지만, 오랜만에 지리산을 찾은 탓인지,
발걸음은 점점 느려지기만 했습니다.
그래도 개선문에서 만난 아침 노을은, 제가 산행을 시작한 이후로 한번도 만나지 못한 장엄한 풍경이었습니다.
붉다고도 표현하기 힘든 숨막히는 시간이 지나가고, 한참을 지나서야 정신을 차릴 수 있었습니다.
꿋꿋한 고사목 사이로 내려다본 주름같은 산은 내 발걸음을 자꾸 붙잡았고,
속살을 훤히 드러낸 겨울 산자락은 맑고 정갈하기만 했습니다.
이윽고 해가 지기 시작하고, 반야봉을 품은 장엄한 노을은 두고두고 잊지 못할 추억을 안겨주었습니다.
온전히 '지리산'을 만나기 위해 달려온 발걸음!
풍경 하나하나를 같이 음미하면서 지리산으로 짧은 여행을 떠나보시기 바랍니다.
On January 4th and 5th, I went to Jirisan for two days.
It was unseasonably warm, and there was only a trace of snow on Cheonwangbong on Jirisan.
I had to hurry my steps to see the sunrise at Cheonwangbong, but it had been a long time since I visited Jirisan,
my steps became slower and slower.
Still, the sunrise at the Arc de Triomphe was a spectacular sight, one that I hadn't seen since I started hiking.
It was a breathtaking moment, and it took me a while to regain my composure.
The corrugated mountain, peering down through the sturdy foliage, kept me on my feet,
The bare winter foothills were clear and pristine.
The sun began to set, and the majestic sunset over Banya Peak was unforgettable.
We had traveled all the way to meet Jirisan!

기억도 가물가물한 몇 해 전 여름에, 하염없이 양철지붕에 비가 내렸습니다.
처음에는 양철지붕에 빗소리인 줄 몰랐지만,
어느새 소리에 빠져들고 있는 나를 발견했습니다.
보이는 것에 극도로 맞춰진 현대사회에 우리는 점점 청력을 잃어가고 있었습니다.
당연하듯이 받아들여지는 각종 소음과 소리…….
우리 감각은 균형을 잃고 청력은 점점 퇴화하고 있습니다.
한국의 숨겨져 있는 보석 같은 풍경과 그 속에 담긴 잃어버린 소리를 찾아
여러분과 같이 나누려고 합니다.
낯선 풍경에서 새로운 친구를 만나 같이 웃고 우는 시간이 되길 바랍니다.
One summer, many years ago, it was raining on my tin roof.
At first, I didn't realize it was rain on a tin roof,
but before I knew it, I found myself immersed in the sound.
In a modern world so tuned in to what we see, we were losing our hearing.
All the noise and sounds we take for granted.......
Our senses are out of balance and our hearing is deteriorating.
In search of the hidden gems of Korea and the lost sounds they contain
and share them with you.
I hope you will meet new friends in unfamiliar landscapes and laugh and cry together.
