- We met up with D30 at the Sea Otter Classic to find out what the scoop on this orange non-newtonian material really is. While many of us ride with it in our knee pads, most have no idea what it is and what makes it so special.
We've also published a 12 minute long, uncut version with even more info and interviews on our Patreon channel. Where we also give away weekly gear! Check out the exclusive content and help us out by visiting: / theloamwolf

Interesting stuff! I have the TLD pads and the D30 has definitely saved me from injury on more than one occasion. Those RC shoes look sick!
So fancy, cool video dudes!
Thanks a lot guys! Definitely neat technology.
Laguna Seca. One of my most favorite spots on Earth.
I keep seeing people hitting their hand with a hammer covered with D3O and not experiencing any pain. I just bought a pair of Fox Enduro elbow pads and a Fox Base frame pro SS. These items are not cheap, so I decided to run my own test with a hammer and the Enduro elbow D3O material over my hand and it is painful. If I were to increase the force it would cause damage. I think the difference is that everyone running the same test online is using a piece of D3O that is way thinker than the pad thickness. Also, the pain was directly over the impact area. It doesn't seem to distribute the force of the impact over the entire hand surface. I call bullshit and invite D3O to comment. The Loam Wolf, try it yourself and let me know what you think. I also did the same with a pad on a G-Form pads and I don't see any difference. I'll say it is better than nothing, but not what advertised.
Would you recommend these for E skate enthusiasts?
Yes
Bit like cornflour, u can press it softly and your finger will sink into it, hit it hard and it solidifies, magic
He doesn't take his helmet off for interviews?
