When I wear this one out, I’ll probably go to a 427, I didn’t go big the first go round just incase I blew it up, I’d have more cylinder wall thickness to spare incase of an issue
I’m running Holley sniper x flow now, which helps, but make sure you’re not cruising too rich, also if your timing is locked out, or you don’t have much timing in high vacuum areas, you will also get worse mileage
I know this is old but looks like u need push rod guide plates to stabilize rockers and push rods might have caused the failure
😳😳😳Amazing build bro😳😳😳😳😳
Thanks! It still runs good as new! Many many miles later
Why not more cubes since using a aftermarket block

Hey bro I'm building motor to turn 6500 rpm do I need to run that kind of oil pan?
Would be a good idea, I had enough windage before to make the oil pressure drop
Did you get an oil leak from running a driver side dipstick pan on a passenger side block ?
It’s a dart shp block so the dip stick is in the other side
I’m a daily 383 stroker driver as well bro lol
Gas sucks but I love it , you have and advice on saving gas by using any kind of adjustment
