  • In this 3rd episode of our BMW R-nineT project, I show you the build of our snorkel kit.
    In this part I show you the production of the inner part of the snorkel kit, this I make of aluminum, exact fit for the Euro 3/4 models until Bj. 2021.
    The short intake snorkel ensures in combination with my intake cover (the manufacture of this, I'll show you in the next episode) that the engine still gets fresh cool intake air, and allows the assembly of the short snorkel.
    Have fun watching

    I'd sleep on the floor inside that workshop. This must be a side thing for you, because those machines downstairs are for mass production ?? Absolutely flawless workmanship as usual ☝👌👍👍

    Your skills are second to non! We’re you trained in the aerospace industry? Spending time making a fixture to hold it all in place shows just how good you are. Kudos!

      Hello Gary,
      Thanks for the praise, unfortunately I didn't learn in aviation, I learned bodywork and vehicle construction, but also taught myself a lot as I love to learn and try new crafts.
      Greetings Marvin

    Absolutely great to see you use modern techniques like the 3d scanner with traditional ways of panelbeating! As a restorer and panelbeater myself this is a huge joy to watch! Love your work and bikes are in good hands with you! Keep on making these stunning products and bikes and post the stuff up as you earn the likes and the compliments!!! Regards Bastiaan from the Netherlands!

    Superb as always. Great design, quality craftsmanship, and always a calm and peaceful video to sit and enjoy. Doesn't need loud music, narration, any visual effects, it's just artisan craftsmanship speaking for itself. And the workspace is stunning. Must be a pleasure to go in every day.

    Congratulations! A work really done in a workmanlike manner!One question, has the noise changed from that air intake? Would it be appropriate to glue a sound absorbing film?

    • @KRTframework
      @KRTframework  2 роки тому +2

      The intake noise has not changed, at least not that you can hear it.
      I often have several RnineT here, so I have also run them times in direct comparison.

    The intake is a lovely piece of work. It's a shame that it's going to get covered up.

      The intake surface is not larger than original, and there is also the cover on it.
