Wow, that seems easy AF, m8!
I'll be looking to do mine this winter.
Great vid.
Excellent tutorial & no annoying music or chat. Liked & subscribed 👍
That is a great design, thanks for demystifying.
Wunderbar! Much obliged for your video clarity and methodical steps and instructions sir.
FANTASTIC.
THANK YOU.
YOU are a LEGEND !!!
Thanks again.
Excellent job, very detailed!!
Excellent how to post. Looking forward to doing mine at service interval.
Awesome tutorial! Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic video actually easier than i thought
Excellent presentation, thank you.
very happy to have found your video
👍👍
You are much better than bmw tech guys 😊
That is criminally easy. I checked the valves on my K1200S a few months ago, and they were all in spec. It still runs fine. But I still have bouts of depression and uncontrollable weeping. If you have a K-bike and the valves need adjustment, arrange to have it stolen and take the insurance money. You will not regret it.
😁😁😁😁
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ( $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ )
많은 도움이 됐습니다. 감사합니다.
Thank you very much!
Great video, thank you
👍👍
This is an incredibly detailed and well done video on how to replace the valve schims. By far the best video I have seen. Thank you for taking the time to post and explain the process.
I need to replace my schims on my bike r nine t pure. Would you know the sizes required for all schims?
Thanks!
Thanks 👍 You have to measure all valve clearances first and then calculate the right sizes. All bikes are different. Good luck my friend. 👍
I don't know about you but I found after I completed my valve clearance my r nine t sounded a hell of a lot meaner. The engine was popping during d9wn shifting and just sounded amazing.
@@adnanchaudhari8636 Your bike thanking you for the service 😃
👌👌👌✌
Wow😮😮
Great video! Really appreciate it! From where did you get the clearance specs from?
Thanks. Haynes Repair Manuals
Great video. Are those Wunderlich crash bars?
Thanks and yes it's Wunderlich ua-cam.com/video/Ivu4mx_jx5w/v-deo.html
Good vid have new urban gs. Lot different than all my previpus twins. What brand crash bars do you have? Thanks
Thanks. Bars are Wunderlich ua-cam.com/video/Ivu4mx_jx5w/v-deo.html
Pelo que eu entendi a folga das válvulas de entrada devem ser de 0,20 mm e as de saida 0,35 mm, é isso mesmo?.
so there is no need to remove crash bars to access valves, nice.
You just need to loosen the bolts
Sir can you please gave me the info of shims sizes and clips thanks you so much I have a pure 2019 trying to do my own valve clearance checking and setting your amazing thanks for the sharing I’ve learned a lot on your channel keep it up thanks
Hi. Every bike is different, riding style, temperature, city or highway all affect engine wear. First you need to measure the valve clearance and then calculate size of the new shim. You maybe off by 0.01mm, 0.05mm or 0,15mm or you maybe in the spec. Just remember that each small shim costs around $11.50 at the dealer, so measure two or three times to be sure. Thanks
@@gamotur thank you so much appreciate it
How do you replace the inlet valve shims if necessary? The rocker arms for those are concealed. What method allows safe removal and replacement of those?
Intake valves are the same ,just from the other side. There is enough space to slide a ROCKER ARM SHAFT and remove a Rocker Arm.
Did you drain the oil first? Thanks for the video.
NO. You don't need to drain the oil for this job
Thank you. Would it make sense to remove a spark plug to make turning the rear wheel easier?
Sure. If you want to. I’m just lazy
A lot easier than a K1600 Valve Job 👍😂
WOW I just checking the K1600gt in the BMW colors and I notice this comment. 🤔🤔 Do you have one?
It’s a great video. Could you share the link for the parts your replaced in the video. Thank you!

Please remember that each engine wears out in different ways. It is important that you measure the valve gap and calculate the proper shim thickness. Your engine may be within specification and no changes are needed.
You will do me a great favor if you give me a thumbs up 👍
@@gamotur Thank you for your reply and make this great video to help people save money from maintenance. Absolutely Thumbs up 👍🏼. My bike is 2021 model and only put about 3k on it. I have marked this video for my bike check valve in the future. Thanks again.
Looks more simple then doing desomotronic valves in a Ducati
100%
Why did you check the intake side with .3 and .4 mm?
Did I ?
Valve clearances (COLD engine)
Intake valves ......... 0.13 to 0.23mm
Exhaust Valves ......... 0.30 to 0.40mm
Why top gear?
In higher gear it is easier to turn the engine by turning the rear wheel
Shit,
That was easy.
Compared that valve adjustment to a Ducati valve adjustment lol, night and day difference (you’ll literally need night and day to do it on a Ducati)
Ugh, everyone only shows exhaust side. I'd like to see the intake side... Good video but not helpful to me personally.
Intake valves are the same. There is enough space to slide a ROCKER ARM SHAFT and remove a Rocker Arm.
