Thank you for this video. I had to do a filter replacement on my DSLite, it was a pain as I don't have a heat gun meant for this work.

Nice fix Mitch. These things are a pain to work on. Shame about the damaged ribbon cable.

I just broke mine from trying to install one of those aftermarket shells. The corner on the inside of the back cover that houses the battery is too sharp and clips into the EM10 component and after I tried a few times to press the shell together, opened it back up to see that part had been smashed apart.

Same, i think it caused f2 fuse to blow too waiting on parts to confirm, either that or the new battery i got, funnily enough i didn't put it on charge so im a bit stumped on it.

I have one where fuses F1 and F2 both test good, charge filter tests good, but won't charge or turn on...the orange light turns on and off right away. The battery is good cuz I tested it in a working device. I'm at a loss of what it could be??? Any suggestions would be great. 😕

Sounds like a broken trace somewhere between the power IC and power input circuit

@@MitchCairns I'm about at my wits end. These things are a pain to work on. Lol I noticed when I occasionally try and turn it on, the red light will flash for a split second, but still won't turn on.
