Hiya, if you look into the mag well, I can't remember if there is a plate in there that needs to be pushed up a little sometimes, if no plate or still no joy, make sure the front pin is pushed out as far as it will go (does lock open) and then just brute force it and it will go. It can be very stiff. Pheas

@@notsoprogamer3627 the barrels are ok, but not amazing and the included hop rubber I would bin immediately and fit something better (I always use either TM or Prometheus hop rubbers) after that it's significantly better but would probably benefit from a better quality barrel in time. There tends to be a little spread at the end that not always great. Hope that helps. Pheas

Hi, thanks for the compliment and the questions. Great choice on getting this if it's one of your first ones. If you're on a budget then a hop rubber is a must as the included one doesn't seem to perform very well. If you have a little more cash then push the boat out and get a tightbore barrel (madbull black python are very good) usually people go for the 6.03 inner diameter as they give good results. If money isn't an object or you happen to have a few hundred pounds/ dollars laying around then a gate titan (basic or advance) will transform this aeg and give you loads of options for customising how it shoots (multi shot bursts and the like) then after that maybe a better rated high torque motor (the standard is pretty good on its own though) I fit an SHS high torque in my tk45 and the rate of fire with the titan is insane (on a 7.4v) glad you found the video useful! Hey, i know im late but, i just purchased this gun. Im kinda new to airsoft and i was wondering how to install a foregrip onto the gun. Ive seen pictures of people installing it right behind the flashlight rail.

For barrels and hop rubbers (bucking) everyone seems to have a different option, but I'm a massive fan of madbull black python 6.03mm and Prometheus purple air seal rubber. They offer really good performance for a very fair price.
@@PheasAirsoft thank you for the suggestion. I will lol into those. I got my Titan installed and got all back together very well but my bolt release is now sloppy and the bolt cover sticks or does not stay with the bolt release engaged. Anything you think I can look for?
@@feliciano1358 hhhmmm that is a little unusual. I will get some photos or a quick video when I get home to show how it should all be sat, but the thing off the top of my head that comes to mind is, on the right hand side of the gearbox the dust cover should sit under a tiny little screw (along the bottom edge of the dust cover, and if it sits on top of it, it can cause it to jam etc, the push button of the bolt release should be a light press but should lock the dust cover back, so I think it could be the little screw. I will be home in a couple of hours and make a quick video for you. Pheas

Thanks for the great comment. You are bang on the money, the T6 and the QRF are internally the same. It makes a lot of sense for KWA to keep things the same internally as they are so solid (apart from the hop rubber/ bucking) then it's easy to just create all this nice looking different externals to suit peoples needs. @@Mr.Burton98 yep, the mag well and the mags and that's it. Every thing else is a t6, se gearbox as a tk45 too, but the tk45 has different mags and magwell and the hop is different too.

I think I saw somewhere that these might be convertible to be a recoil, similar to other KWAs. Do you reckon this is doable and if so, what would you need?
It most certainly is doable. If you buy the recoil weight and recoil type buffer tube and a crane stock, just replace all of the current back end stuff with the recoil parts, wouldn't take long to do and converts it to recoil, when I can next get a non-recoil back I will make a video on it

@@godot5667 that's a tough one. You could mod the current stock to sit around the recoil buffer tube which will give you some battery storage, but it will be smaller due to the tube being in there, but it will require modding the current. It would take some figuring out but you could potentially do it with a couple hours of modding. Hope that helps.
Hiya. Is it hot even with the fps adjustment all the way out? IF so, then I would look at trying a couple of different types of springs to fine tune what you want. So I would try from a 100 to 110 to 120 rated spring and then use the fps adjustment to bring it up from slightly lower. I think this one was ok out of the box, I think it came pre-downgraded for UK limits. Pheas

That trigger pin refuses to budge on my Mod 2, seriously annoying.
I cant even get the upper off my gun I pushed the pin put and pulled the charging handle back and pulled very hard on the top and it wont come out

What spring do you have in this? Mines shooting a little hot out the box don't know what spring to buy?
