I agree, I grew up at the Pacific Ocean, Yachats Oregon. My parents are both gone so I value the time your spending with yours. We didn't have ice, but the smell of the ocean is home to me. I'm moving there soon. I spent hours at the ocean, your not crazy. Blessings to you all.

Only people from the bay know that feeling when returning to the salt water. It's a feeling like no other. It's great to have you part of our community, and even being from the opposite side of North America, we still have a lot in common.

Triton is an awesome spot, been there a number of times over the years. Spent some time there working on the cellular network, stayed at Fudges a few time delicious fish. Yep likes iceberg ice in my drink , I have a video up last summer from Twillingate where we got out in the boat and got really close to the bergs and got some ice for our drinks lol. Oh yeah and we got fish too lol. I grew up on the south coast near the water too , and can totally relate to the smell of the ocean. Great drone footage, great video.

      Thanks, much appreciated.
Being from the bay is a different upbringing than most people realize. Small communities have a more family style of living even towards people with whom you have no relation.

Is the ice berg ice/water salty being it came from a salt water body?

No salt at all. It's constantly melting, so there's no salt being added to the ice. As you seen in the video with me eating that kittle piece of ice, there was no taste of salt, just pure fresh water.
