Im trying to figure out a fluttering noise thats coming from that area of rear passanger drivers side dont know if its the vent valve stuck open or closed have no codes or check engine light
Well im thinking its the vent valve from the charcoal canister they can get stuck closed or stuck open and sometimes inbetween as the tank builds pressure if the vent valve is stuck inbetween it will flutter due to gasses trying to vent and not haveing enough space to vent. Mines stock doing it but about a good 2 weeks ago i did and it went away best option is to do a smoke test see if its stuck closed or inbetween
I got a honda accord 2003 2 door and I pay For the same peace and I look and look for my car and I can't find it 😕 anybody else know where it at for a honda accord 2003 2 door thank u
The P0456 code is set when the system measures a very small evaporative system leak. The system figures out that there is a leak by observing the evaporative emission system's pressure sensor while pulling the system into a vacuum, closing this vent solenoid, and timing how long it takes for the vacuum in the system to rise. The fix for a P0456 would depend on where the leak in the evaporative emission system is. This includes the fuel tank, filler neck, fuel cap, evaporative emission system canister, hoses and lines, and potentially many other components. So, while this solenoid is certainly a possible leak point, it is by no means the only place where the leak could be. The most effective way to find an evaporative emission system leak would be to perform an evaporative emission system leak test using a piece of equipment referred to as a “smoke machine."
Great vid and good point about *not* lubricating the o-rings. It's an easy job. Thanks.
Hey man got an 07 accord 3.0 engine. Have a p0455 code could this solenoid throw the code?
Any response to this? Having the same issue currently
@@jacobkottas5162 honestly can’t remember man sorry

Hi, I have 2003 Accord 2.4 w trouble code PO2422, do I think it’s the same part and procedure for the 2.4? Thanks in advance!!
Got the same code did you ever fix it
Is this the same for a 2013 Honda accord and if so how do you no you don’t have to replace the whole canister?
Was this for a p0498 code?
What codes would pop up if this part goes bad?
P2422
Does this fix the P2422 code? "Evap system vent valve closed"
I did this and it didn't....still trying to figure out next steps...
You have to replace the whole canister because that code is for the cvs malfunction
@@GattoCane333 reallly ? 😞 I have code p2422 as well
Will this faulty part cause a fuel leak?
No you would just smell gas fumes if the cars parked in an enclosed space
What is the code it was throwing up? P2422? I have a evap cvs stuck closed with this solve that issue?
@Mr wick same..any updates?
did you fix it ? if do how /

Does this vent solenoid fix the P0456 code.
L. O. U fix the code

What code was the CPU throwing? P2422??
Did you figure anything out?
I don’t think he responds
Thanks very much!!
