The battery should definitely last longer. We had a 12 mini before this and with light use would not make it a whole day. The 16 should be much better in terms of battery life.

I have the 13 mini and just ordered the 16 base model. Im jusing my phone on brakes in school and im lucky if the battery lasts all the way home

I traded in mine for a 16 pro max and I gotta say the pros do outweight the cons
