At the last test, the latest Tucson model fails in the videos that I found, and it shares the same HTRAC technology and powertrain as the SantaFe. How is this possible?
The tucson in that test was non-hybrid. This santa fe is hybrid. Electric motor drives the rear, so this vehicle always has power going to front and rear wheels.

computer is probably has more aggressive awd programming on sante fe, as its more expensive video. also its a bigger vehicle with. more weight
@jamesc695 Luxury versions of Tucson and SantaFe share the same engine and transmission, at least in Europe. Latest versions don't have DCTs.
the new models in europe come with a different transmission and bring the multi terrain mode.

@Dan Wake the electric motor drives all 4 wheels just like the termic engine because it is placed inside the gearbox replacing the convertisor.
