- This is how I got a bunch of free stuff the Sims 3 Store for the 100 Baby Challenge!

This worked for me! I woke up and saw 500 Sim points randomly on my account (I've literally never bought sim points before) so I used it for this thank u!
You get SimPoints for owning the game and more for each Pack you own.
You get free sims points with base game, world adventures and I believe the high end loft stuff.
Where are you all able to see how many simpoints you have? They're not listed on my account page nor on the 'my page' for the community. I redeemed 'free' points by clicking a button that said I was eligible, the site gave me some points, but it's like they went into a void, because I can't see where they are listed.

You are really great at explaining! Something about the way you speak, reassures me, that the task can be easily accomplished. If you did a tutorial on rocket science, I'd believe that I can do it, or use the CAW tool...

This worked!! I was able to gain access from my Sims 3 store account from 2009 where I got 1000 points for free back then. I still had over 700 so I didn't have to actually spend anything. My 9 year old self knew I needed to save those points for something special LOL
Imagine out of the long list of things EA needs to fix in the sims 4 instead they are quick to patch this sims 3 exploit. Meanwhile they let their 4th generation game crumble with the most bugs of all sims game.

I've bought most of the store stuff over the years. My trick was when individual items from a set I wanted was listed on "daily deals" for between 5-15 points, I would buy it, and once you had about 15% of the items from a particular set, when the set itself went on sale, it would either be around 25 pts or outright free because it would detuct the cost of the items when NOT on sale from the total sale price.

Apparently there are other sets that function like this, I know for sure I ended up with some free stuff I never bought but I can't remember how I did it

Thank you so much for making these kind of video about Sims 3, it is really helpful! Also if you ever find a fix for the 64 bit version glitches, wether it is a guide you can follow or a mod, please make a video about it! I have to play this version and not only is there no compatible version of CAW for it as far as I’m aware, but there are some common bugs like Sims not being able to collect insects without using a collecter from ambitions or Sims not being able to interact with the ocean. These are not major bugs, but they are annoying and restrict certain types of gameplay

I think 400 is enough, I believe I paid 25 for the toilet roll and 375 for the Complete Your Set discount, then all the big sets came up as "download" instead of purchase

Awesome! I'll definitely try this. I experienced some glitch where I kept getting sent 1000s of Sim points. (I think it was some promotion that I was able to collect on over and over. Idk, it was many years ago. Best glitch though, hahaha.)
I got the same thing, it's apparently from getting Expansion Packs, msot of them give you 1k sim points automatically when registered but they only happen 1 at a time

Have you ever thought of making a tutorial on how to download the sims 3 and how to make it work for sims 4 players who want to play sims 3? I want to play the sims 3 but since i have a pretty small laptop I was wondering if you had any tips or tricks to make it run smoother or how to get it to run at all.

Sorry, I don't know how I missed this one before.
Anyway, I am using the pirated version of the store BUT I did buy it all its just when reinstalling its much much much easier to put the pirate version in in two seconds than wait for everything to download into the game from the store... and then it doesn't all download properly and you have to uninstall and reinstall until it does, its just a hassle. So I have the pirate version going on all my satellite computers that my nieces use.
Does anyone know if there are any more sets that something like this works on...?
wanted to try it but for some reason my launcher won't let me login. It just sends me back to the login screen no matter how many times I click... guess I'll see if I can fix this

There's a bunch of blogs that have listings of free items on the store with links to find them in the store. Some of them I already had as registration gifts, but embedded in the store are random dresses, hats, items that are just free but you have to search for them. Is it considered piracy to download the old promo items? I ask because there's blogs with the cars, the Dr. Pepper and T-Mobile and JCPenney promo items available for download.

This happened to me with the entire 2013 set for some reason, everything was free. I cannot say what I bought to trigger it as I cannot remember but it was insane the amount of free stuff I got

Back when I was in college, I bought a bunch of stuff from the Sims three store. I have about five neighborhoods that I bought along with a ton of other items and they will install my game but not show up. I’ve tried the endgame installer I’ve tried the start menu can anyone help, I called EA and they didn’t know the difference between DLC and expansion packs

I might be wrong but did this get fixed? I followed all the steps and it says I own 6% of 2010 Kids and 11% of Tip Top Toddlers. Bummer if it did get fixed!
It is still working from what I can tell. You absolutely need to finish the animals ablund set with "complete your set" discount, you can't just buy it outright. Also sometimes it takes a few minutes for the kids 2010 to register so maybe try refreshing

It appears that have fixed it... followed the steps and only got the items that were included in the animals abound set... :(
Try clicking "download" blue button on the "Kids 2010" page, or go to your purchase history and see if it's there

I've tried it but when I try to install the two free big packs, it tells me there's "nothing to install". I don't understand why it's not working? Any idea?
it might be an EA app issue, try "EA App Recovery" to clear the cache. Also disable any "stream overlay" settings in the options as well
