This is a remake of the very first mashup I did back in 2017. UA-cam removed it two years ago due to a copyright claim. I believe the copyrighted content claimed was the music video for Looks That Kill, so I completely redid the video using live footage for that song.
This remake will hopefully showcase some of the things I have learned about music/video editing over the past five years. If you are familiar with the original mashup, you will notice some changes and additions to both the audio and video.
Of course, no copyrighted material is ever safe on this platform. Keep your fingers crossed. 🤞

I've heard several interesting mashup era but only Bill consistently creates songs I would listen to like they were "reall original songs

I had to comment again. Bill's mix has Nikki bass turned up above Mick's guitar. It add so much more drive and flavor to the song. My favorite MC song! Still remember being blown by the video on MTV.

My favorite thing about Bill's mash-ups is hearing old songs take on a whole new attitude and flavor. It's like candy for my ears.

This is the most rocking I’ve ever heard Steely Dan be. I love the chord changes in the chorus with the chorus melody versus the instrumental backing.
Motley crue music is the best. When I heard the mashup between them and Steely Dan I thought WOW!!!!! this song was great as the original. I loved so much. Can't get better than Motley Crue. I am a 70 yr. old mom and still love their music and play some everyday.

I was always a purist for Steely Dan, eschewing anything after 1980. I was saddened to hear of Walter Becker's passing and truly wondered how the band could go on. Now I know.
Once again, Bill has shown us the way-an absolute Galaxy Quest of mashup goodness. Ted Nugent has stepped into the gap to provide the sardonic edge and guitar chops needed for this ride. Those new chords you made for the chorus at 0:43 is a masterpiece - fans at a Steely Dan concert would have flipped out if they did that.

Some great songs like 'Do It Again' deserve to be interpreted in a different genre (swing usually works well) and this rock version is a perfect example. Classic!
