How? I mean, I understand the amount of musical theory, video editing and historical skill this all takes. But the dedication is what gets me. I'm damn glad this channel exists, it's awesome.
It's the addition of the video mix that's the icing on the cake. Lots of mashups, but I don't think (m)any are as polished as these. The Crue video rendered in the 60's TV style... outstanding!
Then one day, the children of Soul and the children of Metal found each other, saying “This is the music of our ancestors”. And they admired the mashup so much, they became family to each other. And there was finally lasting peace in the land.
Been preaching this for years ever since I heard his Ratt/Marvin Gaye match up witch is still one of the most brilliant things that has ever graced my ears.
I love the old footage in these videos of the kids in the audience clapping along with these goofy smiles when they mix a metal band with an old soul or pop singer.
Child of the '80s here. Lifelong metalhead and son of a boomer mom. Shout at the Devil and the Good Morning, Vietnam soundtrack are both branded onto my soul. The former was my first ever cassette and the latter my mom's favorite soundtrack. This mashup was very personal to me. Thanks Bill.
Reaction videos should be the members of these groups watching these mix videos, if said group members are still slive. Nice appearance by Randy and his Ozzness. R.I.P. RANDY.
I do radio production, imaging and commercials, and watching these makes me want to do better production. This is the motivation I hopefully give my neighborhood when I mow my sweet lawn and everyone else is all "Man, now I have to do MY lawn." Cheers from Nashville.
No one can tell me with a straight face that this hasn't been stuck in their head since they first heard it. Martha's voice just fits so perfectly with the instrumental of "Ten Seconds To Love". I guess rock really is the last evolution of Motown.
I'm a guitarist that can play Van Halen songs as well as Ozzy ( Randy Rhodes, & Eddie Van Halen, two of the finest guitarists that ever played guitar ) but for the love of me I can NOT figure out how Bill McClintock pulls this off! This guy, Bill McClintock, is Absolutely Brilliant! And I can prove it to you! You go ahead and try putting two or three songs together! Keep in mind, I'm a musician, and I can't pull this off if my life depended upon it! This song so far is my favorite! Mötley Reeves & the Crüellas - "Ten Seconds to Run" And here's the other really odd part, I also do sound editing and film editing, but for the love of me I can NOT mash up any two songs. Go figure! This is a very Special Talent that Bill has.
This works cuz Tommy basically playing a 4 on the floor type beat that is right out of motown playbook. And this is basically 8 bar with a turn around. I love what you do dude.
@P. M. No He didn't get it wrong, Tommy is swigging booze at 3:07, Nikki didn't even swig booze in the vid He was flinging it at the crowd from the bottle, .... Next time maybe watch the entire video.
I’m so convinced that Soul Metal needs to be a new genre of music. It’s mashups like this that not only open up possibilities like this, but also keeps the spirit of rock and roll alive. 👍🤘🎸😎
We've a small pub nearby where these mashups would go down a storm. This particular one is fantastic. So good it's hard to hear the originals without feeling something is missing. " I love Rock n Soul... Put another dime in the jukebox baby"
In the next Bill and Ted sequel, Bill and Ted and their children goes back in time to save the one man known to be the savior of mashups and creating universal peace throughout the known galaxies. His name: Bill McClintock.
Then Dave Grohl calls the cops on them AGAIN, and they just wanted to stick around as the new way home means they got to learn to fly which made them feel so low and think there is no way back, but cheer up boys with all this back & forth you can always make something from nothing and if all else fails RUN
The BEST part is, after pursuing the rest of the comments section, nobody else caught on to it except for the ones that "liked" Klass' post!!! 🤣🤣 It was so subtle, yet instantly funny and totally relatable to a musician or performer!!!!
Just more proof just about all musics comes from the blues. Which created rock and soul. Look how it brings us together. Beautiful thing to rock. I would of loved to actually see this come together. It would have been amazing and would of sent a great message.
Personally there is no one better at this. No one else mashes up songs this well and the video editing is top notch. Also loved the Crazy Train Randy Rhoads.
Up to 349K in August (almost September) 2023, but I agree with your post. I suppose not everyone appreciates the genius and skills that go into putting these songs together.
I'm thinking about opening a bar where the only music that I'd play would be McClintock mashups.
"WAIT STOP STOP, I'm sorry Mr. McFly. You're just too damn loud"
@@MikinessAnalog You may not be ready for this yet, but your kids are gonna love it.
I’ve seen this comment a hundred times

The music is amazing, and the fact that the extra mile is gone just to find the perfect footage for the videos is what makes them next level.
Soul Metal is an amazing genre!!!!
Ive developed the sickest music playlist because of this channel. Ive gotten many comments about these songs from my roommates and their friends

Motown Metal
The RATT/Marvin Gaye pair up is still honestly one of the best damn things I've heard in all my life.
Yeee, strong in every aspect :))
The copyright bots gotta be so confused by this channel.
Haha I love it
BY THE MIRACLE OF TRANSFORMATIVE EFFORT...YOU HAVE NO POWER HERE!

Good, fuck em'
Mötley Crüe with Martha & The Vandellas and Randy Rhoads fitting solo of Ozzy's 'I Don't Know'... LUVIT!
I am fucking addicted to this mashup. I keep going back to it...
How? I mean, I understand the amount of musical theory, video editing and historical skill this all takes. But the dedication is what gets me. I'm damn glad this channel exists, it's awesome.
Also just coming up with the ideas for these mashups is incredible
Genius. I am always amazed at these mashups.
It's the addition of the video mix that's the icing on the cake. Lots of mashups, but I don't think (m)any are as polished as these. The Crue video rendered in the 60's TV style... outstanding!
Alchemy. No need to look further.
Very well said. Bill is extraordinary. A true virtuoso.
Any song with a guest appearance from Randy Rhoads is instantly improved by 98%.
That's just a scientific fact.
I believe that percentage is a tad low. Probably more like 99.99999999999999674523%.
Took the words right out of my mouth
So this song is like 198-1999999999996758% Awesome? Yeah, I can go with that.

What if it was living colour & hank Williams or sevendust & dolly Parton?
@@SAM-ru4vx I can’t stand country, but I would listen to a Living Colour/Hank Williams mashup!

And there was much rejoicing
Been preaching this for years ever since I heard his Ratt/Marvin Gaye match up witch is still one of the most brilliant things that has ever graced my ears.
The cut to Mick Mars taking his guitar off and handing it away during the Randy Rhoads solo is just perfect
Hilarious it is
The best part! :D
at 2:29 for those that missed it...
Now this handing away the guitar has become a completely new sense....🤕🎸
And the “I Don’t Know” solo as icing on the cake.
I love the old footage in these videos of the kids in the audience clapping along with these goofy smiles when they mix a metal band with an old soul or pop singer.
I love that Ozzy is just hanging out and enjoying the music. 🤪👍
The Maestro of the Mashup has graced us with another instant classic.

Another masterpiece. The fact that the Mighty Bill McClintock was able to have the dancers sync at the end is even more proof of his genius.
Soul Metal really needs to happen. I would absolutely by tickets to a concert like this.
The closest real-life example I know of is Zeal and Ardor.
What an amazing mashup! The vocals become really haunting with the Crue music. Love it!
Bill McClintock is the man.
I love how Mick just leaves the stage during Randy's solo, as if to surrender
No one can tell me with a straight face that this hasn't been stuck in their head since they first heard it. Martha's voice just fits so perfectly with the instrumental of "Ten Seconds To Love". I guess rock really is the last evolution of Motown.
No one. It's absolutely sticky.
opening riff is infectious asf
This is pure baby making music.
3 of the songs I had the dj play at my wedding were Bill McClintock songs.
This is better than 99% of songs out there
You're doing the lords work Bill.
Vince Neil and Martha Reeves - that's a house party you don't miss.

The shot of Tommy Lee swigging the booze near put me under. Lmao Another homerun Bill! Extra points for the legendary guitar solo.

Another crappy day after a crappy weekend.... HUGE SMILE ON MY FACE---ENGAGED! THANK YOU!
IF these songs could chart on billboard, I think Bill would own every spot in the top 20.
And I'd rather that happen then Taylor Swift occupying every other slot on the Billboard Hot 100!
You know the "Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill!" chant for the Science Guy? You get one from me every time a new video comes out.
Motown and Metal.🎸🎸🎵🎼🎶👍
This could be the best one I’ve seen… the I don’t know solo was genius too.
My jaw about hit the floor when Randy showed up. Amazing as usual.
Yes! It was so smooth, at first I didn't realize what was happening... Had to go back to figure it out 😆
I wasn't watching the vid, but reading the comments when I heard the Rhoads solo section. I was wondering - whaaat!!?? Made me smile.
The Randy solo was the icing on the cake!! 🎂
This is my first time hearing of The Vandellas. They have a powerful aura.
Martha and The Vandellas have the best vocals and harmonies. And Heatwave is one the greatest songs ever. :)

This is a perfect example when a vocal line suddenly sounds much cooler than the original one! WOW!!!
The best vocals Mars and Sixx ever worked with.
Martha and the Vandellas and Randy Rhoads. This may be the closest Motley Crue ever gets to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
Incredibly impressed at the quality of the Martha vocals here!
Bill McClintock is an interdimensional being to have been able to fuse two world together like this.
Your grandma rocked! 😂She was into heavy metal soul and you didn’t know it! Perfectly matched! Great mash up!
She vastly improves Motley Crue!!!
Love the random insert of Ozzie and Randy!
This is my jam now. And Stevie Wonder and VH. You gotta be kidding. 100%
Not only the music is perfectly mixed but the video editing is amazing too!
Pure genius

Randy throwing a solo in the mix. Fucking absolute genius.
That Randy Rhoads solo was genius! This dude is insane with the mash ups!! Awesome!!

Fantastic! Love motown and I need to get into metal more, so this is the perfect gateway drug for me 😄

Thanks Randy for improving Motley Crud

Another masterpiece! A nice surprise cameo by Randy Rhoades too! 🤘
I always loved soul voices, and was a Crue fan in my teens. This is like a late Christmas gift, thanks !
You know it's gonna be a good weekend when Bill gives us a new video and sound.
All I can do is shake my head, smile and click on the next video. Thanks for lifting my spirits.
Nice cameo from Randy Rhoads. I have run out of superlatives to describe your work Bill.
Top Notch, Sir.
Shows up how great those women's voices were. 🤟💖
That RR solo fit so well into the song I did a double-take!
Martha Reeves. One of the greats. Great mashup
This is so gooood, everything mates up, down to the lyrical context.
Wow! That was haunting!
This is a fucking sick mash up I’m already in love with it!
Any mashup by Bill is instantly approved for 100%.
This mash-up is so good, both songs are ok but together it’s a great song! The beat and timing is perfect! Thank you.
