Jaki, Great advice, you are so realistic, and humble when you expose your past and vulnerabilities. Forgive yourself for your past mistakes, give yourself time to heal and learn from it. Control- what you can control, focus on yourself and improving yourself first. Love it, this is exactly what I've been working on -self improvement so that I can be the best that I can be when I do meet Mr. Right.

@@engrmarkphilip2182 sorry for the delayed response. I just read your comment. Through Jaki's advice I was able to meet my current beau. We have been together for over a year. I wish you luck in your endeavors
dating pool drops a lot after 40, I don't know too many men dating after 40, either they are married, gay, divorced, or no longer interested, I stopped at 46, not worth it anymore

I believe it's often said that women in their 20s,. That's when women have the easiest time for going on dates or getting a boyfriend.
That's when women have the most options in dating, or they have men hitting on them or pursuing them from every angle.

Coaching is so essential and the anecdote to the procrastinating isolation that often times traps us. Then we look up and it's been 2 years and we realize we've been in a cycle of work and home. How about after seventy, its hard too even get one that is proud of the body they live in. My wife sufferd with weight ,but made up in personality and respect of me and others from moment she met them .I said she was extrovert by the limits of her ability . She was the most beautiful and wonderful lady . So after her passing its hard too get out and be seen again .

Hi Jaki! I'm going to 51 and have a failed marriage of 21 years and 13-year-old daughter. Notwithstanding, I look like I'm in my mid thirties.
There's a good-looking white guy who is 38 to 39 and who has never married. He finds me attractive. Do you think there is a wide age gap? He doesn't know my age.
The man I married before is one year my junior but has never mature. We had communication problems. He was extremely sensitive. He was abusive physically and verbally.

@@cikumainone Thank you very much for your encouragement. First of all, I don't drink alcohol and don't know how to appreciate it. Secondly, I am very conservative so I don't sleep around and have never taken any pills.. Also, I don't have night life. I eat little meat but lots of vegetables and fish, so I guess diet plays a part.. I am slim naturally with no special diet or exercise. I don't put on much make up. At most, eye shadow. I have to put on sun block on my face though. I don't put on foundation. I only use cleanser to wash my face and some moisturizer. Occasionally, I use ice to wash my face. I hardly have wrinkles. I don't put too much chemicals on my face or take chemicals. I like everything natural. Keep a cheerful heart helps. My heart is like a child perhaps it's due to my teachjng profession. I like to be around kids. 😊
Shame, guilt and mistakes? Nope. I'm good

Men like me gave up! Its been seven years and counting as a single man. Just can't see womens attitudes being realistic that mister perfect is going to be there one day just waiting for her. Men like me just would like the opportunity to meet someone nice and she if we together could build something but we ( i ) are just not given the opportunities. So we just get on in life as a single person.
Wow! I'm amazed that there are men out there who are struggling to find partners. I think you have some limiting beliefs that you need to get rid off. Why is it that there are numerous jobless bums with wives? If you want a wife, you will find one.
@Lisa CivilDisobey it must be really easy for you to sit behind your computer screen and say someone is a loser,, I wouldn't do that. Yes I had some very hard times, a very difficult divorce brought on by the ex-cheating and stealing. Lost my home, car and nearly made homeless. I was also made redundant at the same time. I found a better job, I now have a roof back over my head and a new company car, and savings in the bank. I don't make massive money but I'm not doing bad. I'm not 6ft3ins tall and have a shaved head and have grown a beard lots of people and friends say it suits me. I'm working out a little more too. I am also working on a side project that looks like it could earn me some extra money and change my life again. I have been alone for over 8 years and not even given any opportunities to prove who or what I'm about to women. I just get asked what I earn or put down down to not having the looks but I am funny I'm told when people get to know me. I don't have a chance going after the supermodel types and never have. I would be very happy to meet a normal everyday women. (I know I can't afford the ferrari or even run one, but the Ford fiesta won't open their doors to me), out of the last 8 years I've given up for the last 4 even looking. I tried online dating and it made me feel terrible about myself I had to come off. I do things for myself and I have noticed many men in the same position. I work hard and have had to fight for everything I currently have in life. But I'm certainly no loser maybe unlucky yes. Loser no!
