Waltz of the Wizard: Voice Commands in Mixed Reality

Waltz of the Wizard is arguably still one of the best experiences out there for the Quest platform. It’s still the only game I know of that pushes spatial mapping, HandTracking, voice commands and more to create a genuinely magical feeling experience with seamless and fluid interactions that are truly immersive! This is a deeper dive into their new mixed reality mode which takes it all a step further! Specifically in this demo I demonstrate the power of voice commands to chain hand commands together for fun and creative interactions.

How did you get mixed reality

It can be enabled in the settings menu of Waltz of the Wizard. I'll record a clip showing the exact steps and post it later tonight/tomorrow morning.
Brief Outline of Steps:
1. Pinch pointer finger and thumb on left hand in Meta/Oculus menu gesture to open the Walts Of The Wizard in game menu.
2. Then in the setting select Mixed Reality Sandbox Mode.
3. The game will have you perform a room setup if you haven't already for your playspace, then will procedurally spawn in rudimentary instructions with voice commands and a myriad of possibilities for you to experiment with.

There’s a couple of ways. It’s built
Into the VR tower mode, but it’s also built into the Mixed Reality Playground mode. The ring is the tool that enables voice commands in the game.
