Tales from the Tubs. Love it. Lends itself to a 1950s style title card which goes all wavy, or wipes across left to right. Don't forget the exclamation point.
I agree modding toybiz parts onto modern Hasbro is definitely worth doing occasionally. The toybiz strange head modded to fit on the deluxe Hasbro classic strange is a must!! Highly recommend it
That Hasbro Namor reminds me of Bill Everett's rendering , you could always do a first appearance shelf of heroes , seems kind of a shame to keep him in the tub. I guess I always try to find the beauty in the plastic.
As someone new to the hobby i really enjoy this series so far. It's fascinating to learn and see how improvements have been made over the years! Thanks Robo
That Conan is great and I'd argue it still holds up today. I did see some people using Hercules' body to replace it and I was going to do the same as the new body does look better in pictures but once I got both side by side I decided to keep it original.
Interesting history and evolution of 6” figures. I never collected the Toy Biz or those bigger figures. I was a 3.75” collector and the 6” was a big price jump I resisted for a long time.
Scorpion is still my shelf display. Hasbro's is fine but just cant beat it. Same goes for Bill though I wish Hasbro would take a crack at it. Gotta agree on that conan. He looks better than a lot of figures today. Super Skrull is one of those Ive always wanted. Wish I was collecting and could army build back then.
1) I like that Sinister way more than any of the recent Habsro ones, damn; 2) I am continually distracted by the background Impossibly Handsome Megatron on the top shelf
Oh boy am I glad I missed the toy biz stuff (I really only got back into action figures when covid hit), I mean, I would've got 'em and had feelings for 'em like you, but I already have like 75% of the figures I picked up in that first year in tubs waiting to be used for something else (if I ever get to them). I don't wanna sound like a snob but I mostly have been trying to get just one or two imports at a time to replace the hasbro's and mattel's that I did pick up, for better articulation/sculpt/paint/accessories. Not to say all of 'em are bad, the figure that got me back is the Logan w/the cowboy hat and jeans (I think hasbro) and he's still front and center of my Wolvie shelf. My apartment is only two rooms (w/my "kitchenette" cut outta the corner of one, and bathroom cut outta the other), so space is at a premium, not to mention my line-cook income's small so I don't like giving my money to companies that treat their customers with open contempt
So let me get this straight. People were upset about Laura getting a figure simply because the line is called "Marvel Legends" and she's a new-ish character? Really? Good lord
You had to be there. She only had a handful of comic appearances (mostly NYX), and the trash figure was based on them. The figure/s weren’t even good for fodder, due to horrid articulation and no other character looked like her. It was only after she was brought into the main X-titles (and X-Evolution toon) that she gained a following and became popular. I think the Deadpool Sauron wave was the next figure we got for her and it was an arguable slight improvement.
Hey Robo any hints on the new content?🙂 Will it be all figure related? Thinking you could look at individual toy lines from the past or 'Robo tries to know' where you dive into a property your not that familiar with looking at the toys, games, movies, cartoon etc. I think people might enjoy that👍 anyway looking forward to whatever you have planned!!
this might be the minimalist in me talking. But why not sale or donate the figures you don't want or need anymore? for the life of me. i will never understand why people will keep toys in a "tub." forget about them. buy MORE of the same or similar things, just to keep repeating the same process.

You just made me go back and recut that in for the main channel version, haha. Thanks for the inspiration!
TubTales! Woo-oo!
Everyday Robo out there making
TubTales! Woo-oo!
Tales of derring-do, bad and good
Tub Tales!
Tales from the Tub is by far one of my favorite things on youtube
I love that Namor, I think they nailed the original Bill Everett art, the naïveté of the sculpt works
I wish ToyBiz was still around. Their figures had so much character and charm.
Man, you have a soothing voice. Calms me down.
"Tub Tales" makes me thing of Ducktales. "Tub Tales...Woohoo!" lol
I love that you give credit where due while also not slavishly defending figures that have come outmoded.
I'm liking these teletubby episodes
The new Blob... takes the cake. 👏
ALL THE CAKE AND THE COOKIES TOO
I agree modding toybiz parts onto modern Hasbro is definitely worth doing occasionally. The toybiz strange head modded to fit on the deluxe Hasbro classic strange is a must!! Highly recommend it
Ooo, I hadn't thought of that, I may give that a look!
Nice buddy. I had the shiny re-release of Scorpion and if that Conan had thigh swivel, I'd still have it on a shelf. Same with Doc Sampson...
Tub-tastic! 🎉
Tub-ular 🤙
Tub Tales (woo-ooo!)
I love this videos but these need to be longer... at least 30 min, the rambling and the reminiscing are awesome

This series needs to be a weekly thing!!!!
Tubs of love

Best series by far very unique!
Loved this video the first time still love it now. Can't wait for part 3.
That X-23 "controversy" just sounds so distinctly 2000s 😂
Haha, yeah, looking back, not quite worth the drama that surrounded it.

Tub Tales! Awooo Oooo!
Tub Tales, whoo Hoo! Do it!
Tub Tales... is a cool name
Keep'em coming bub
I love the nostalgia. Good times.
And here I was thinking I wouldn't have anything to watch with breakfast! 😎
Haha, yeah, still in the middle of year-end reruns!
HIP-BALL'S!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is my shelf beta Ray. But the hammer from the older beta Ray is with that beta Ray. V
The 6” 5poa LPS from the 5” pre-ML days?
That was an awesome Stormbreaker.
Haha 😃 you've seen Snatch 😂
Great fun as always! Keep up the great work, absolutely loving the new channel and same old Robo.
That almost looks like a '90s Disney animated style Namor.
Commmments for Robo!!! Peace!
That movie Juggernaut head would be decent for a Sean Strickland custom.
I love this series. Well done sir. Also... I may have to hunt down that Namor... I have ideas for custom, more so the head sculpt. lol.
Finally a new tales from the tubs
It's a reupload, you might have seen this one already
i hated getting my fingers pinched in the DCUC knees
You made me pull that Scorpion out of my tub. He's pretty much better than the last Hasbro Scorpion we got. He's going back on the shelf 💯
1) I like that Sinister way more than any of the recent Habsro ones, damn; 2) I am continually distracted by the background Impossibly Handsome Megatron on the top shelf
He is quite a looker, isn't he?

Blob with toe joints!
Toe joints don't do a lot if the rest doesn't move worth a damn, haha.

Any fun options for some kitbashes? I like finding old figures and making recipes for kitbashed figures.
A few, but as they get older the less useful parts they have. Outdated more and more.
What is that staring through my soul next to Cap's shield in the background?😬
How many of you guys said Whoo-hoo after Robo said Tub Tales???? I can't be the only one
How much for those conan???
Tubs! Tubs! Tubs! Tubs! We need allll the tubs!!
Am I crazy or did I already watch this exact video a little while ago? Are you re-uploading videos Robo?
Yes.

Maybe some cooking tutorials?
I've either seen this or I have a hemorrhoid
You ARE freaking out. Man.
Tubby-Talies?
Gratuitous generic comment.
Grateful obligatory reply!

for the life of me. i will never understand why people will keep toys in a "tub." forget about them. buy MORE of the same or similar things, just to keep repeating the same process.
But then I couldn't rediscover them years later. I'll never understand how some people can't understand what other people do with their toys.
This comment will likely be edited, but I had to do this…..Tub Tales, Woohoo !
Why would it be edited?
@@RoboDontKnow I commented this before fully finishing the video and just put that there in case I ended up adding to it
Oh, okay, I thought you meant UA-cam would edit for some reason, we're just talking tubs haha!
To paraphrase Marge Simpson “Scorpion tails are designed to hurt!”. You’re welcome in advance for anyone who likes my comment.
