Hello from a fellow productivity junky. I got a shirt that says “Loving people is doing something”. It reminds me that time with people is a form of productivity!
First time watching, love all of the sections including the bit about the perfectionist project. It's awesome to hear about how people manage there day especially when that is not their channel focus. My vote would be the Prismatic because you know that where the yarn is going for that one and you don't have to go through the process of swatching your ideas about which color should be the dots.
I finished one sweater before starting a new sweater. The ends are woven in and it feels great! I have two blankets that I am working on to use up scraps and leftovers but those are long-term projects. Have a great day!
The scrappy blanket looks awesome! Not sure if you're into making amigurumis or softie toys but scraps can be useful for those too. You can even use the small scraps to fill the toys instead of using fiberfill. Then the softies can be gifted, donated, or kept as cute little decorations (xmas decorations and seasonal stuff?). Or make random scrappy gifts (scrappy hats, scappy socks, scrappy cowls).
Here's an idea for destashing leftovers and such if you aren't worried about getting some money back...split into lots and do a sort of lottery where the recipient pays the shipping cost?
I have always loved your podcast (yes, you're my fave) but I am really really loving this new format. Really enjoy hearing a more rounded chat about your interests. Very interested in the perfectionism project too. Thanks for sharing and for being you!
I very much relate to needing to be productive to feel good. I'm going to check out the perfectionism project. I love your pink colors that you're going to make the cowl out of
I feel the same way about my yarn. It will probably take me so long to work through it but my ultimate goal is the same yours- I'd like the freedom to choose the pattern, buy the yarn I want for it, etc. I loved watching your organizing videos. Very cute socks! I'd love your pattern of the sweater you are wearing. It's so hard to find a broken rib cardigan.. If you ever want to share it but I get the one of a kind. Happy organizing! - Kimberly
As I was watching you talk about your stash moving toward zero, I was mentally talking to you! "What if you need to make a quick gift? What if you have a lot of waiting and need a vanilla sock?" LOL I was worried for you! I'm glad you are going to keep a few spares just in case. 🙂Also, the color of your eyes was so bright when you held up your yarn for the Snow Pine sweater. I vote for starting that one, but I totally understand what you're saying about knitting the already wound balls first.
Dates are delicious! My Nana at the holidays will stuff them with peanut butter and roll in sugar. So good. Also definitely a once a year treat! For the hat, when you showed the poms I was like “oh definitely the white.” But surprisingly when held up with the hat, the brown looks SO good!
i love your pink hat- so pretty. i would love your bag of mini leftovers. i am struggling with socks and have been practicing in pieces to get the right tensions, needles, and fit.
I just finished reading Into the Water! I would agree it's a bit of slow build up. I really enjoyed the last third or so. I just started another Paula Hawkins book called Slow Fire Burning and it's quite interesting right from the beginning! But also a bit dark. Happy knitting and reading :)
I think you need to go for the prismatic sweater next, for the same reasons you said but also because that's the one that you were confident about your yarns. You have a vision of the finished object in your mind, which tells me you're ready to go on that one. While the Snowpine sweater is very pretty, you weren't confident about how you would use the colors you have picked (which go beautifully together). Great job on using stash!
I saw another podcast that gave away some of their scraps by doing a give away where they put together an advent made of their scraps. They put together either 10 or 20 gram minis of their scraps into the advent May be a way to destash some of the scraps without doing a swap.
Both the sweaters you are looking at to knit are pretty - I especially like the Prasmatic sweater! I'd go with the brown pom pom on your cabled hat - so cute! I am also trying to knit through my stash this year. I have plans for every skein... although allowing myself to make changes on those projects if I feel like making something else. Thanks for the motivation!
I could never have a small stash of anything. I’m the person who hurricane preps before hurricane season starts. No waiting in line for 1 case of water for me. Just the thought of not having enough yarn gives me anxiety. Especially when I go to the grocery store and see empty shelves more often than not. Glad you will keep at least some on stock for socks. 😅 good luck.
Your Sea Glass Tee is lovely! I just finished making my first Snuggle Down Cowl and I love it! I used seven 20g minis from Leading Men Fibers held with a strand of Suri Alpaca Silk (Fresh Linen). I only used half of each mini, so you would have enough of your leftover minis from your tee to make one of these cozy cowls! I decided to make a 2nd one to give to a friend, to use up my leftovers.
The Sea Glass Tee is turning out so well! I recently finished my own and it’s so nice and warm, especially for a fingering weight garment. I think all those little floats from the color changes help in insulating lol. I recently sent three different friends some of my yarn I know I wouldn’t ever get to for a very long time and let me tell you that that is one of the most freeing feelings in my destashing progress.
Im loving the cable hat, 🤗 knitting cables is my favorite. Oh wow, your sea glass tee is awesome, I’m crocheting the sea glass tee. I’m doing a hdc throw with my scraps.
I'm so excited to see how your Sea glass tee is turning out. I plan on doing the same thing or doing the DK long sleeved version. I'm trying to be more disciplined and finish projects before I cast on things. I'm so tempted to knit your colorwork socks. I've never knit colorwork socks or socks for myself. I'm in love with the wool and pine sweater. It's in my que : ) I was reserved about participating in the colowork MAL, but I think doing the cowl would be so much fun knitting with other people and a great stash buster. I'm reserved about knitting objects I won't wear, but I'm thinking projects like the cowl I'll knit for the experience and the FO can be tossed into a bin for impromptu gifts: )
That would be awesome to do the cowl and hat set with your left over pink yarn!! So exciting to use up those pretty yarns!! Maybe a Christmas present for December! Got to plan ahead. lol
Aw dang! The second I saw the cardigan you are wearing I said I hoped you had a pattern on it lol. I'm just a couple days late for the website :( I have a hard time finding simple cardigan patterns I love
You could always do the white pom and if u decide later u don't like it u have the option to change it to the brown. I do have a lite pink that would match if u want it. I won it but I never wear hats.
Why don’t you either sell grab bags of your scraps or do some giveaways with bundles of them? Those of us that haven’t been knitting long would LOVE to have them!!
Oh my.. I went and got the Sea Glass tee, and the had to add the other to my favorites for future (pine ? ). I love your plans on pairing down your stash💖
Love your hat. I have a question. What do you do with the little bags from your advent? If you don’t save them I would be happy to pay postage to have you mail them
I love the Prisma sweater... also... February calls for pink yarn. I am making the All together hat, but a set sounds really nice! What will be your contrasting color?
The yarn you showed for the Snow & Pine sweater… Since those are full, untouched skeins, have you considered destashing them on Ravelry instead of trying to find a pattern for them? I don’t see you reaching for that turquoise color if it were in a garment. It’s gorgeous on its own, no doubt, but maybe that’s not a set of yarns that you’d really use for yourself. Just a thought 😊 P.S. I love that you’re doing a stash down! I’m down to two single skeins, a set of three for a shawl, and a set of four for a sweater. Having only one drawer of stash is fantastic!
Hello Natalie!! So good to see you!! My favorite pom is the white, silver, gray. Your tea glass tee is gorgeous! Great wips and FO'S. I wanted to ask if you as New Year in NYC. Did you see the ball drop ?
Your sea glass tee looks awesome! I’m actually knitting a Snowpine sweater right now and just split for the sleeves 😅 I will say in my option, from the cast on to the sleeve split is a little stressful yarn management wise having 5 balls attached at once. Can’t wait to knit the cowl with the membership!
Do you ever think about using scrap yarn for a table runner or washcloths? I haven’t, but I saw someone working on the cutest washcloth recently!!! I bet these yarns are the wrong kind for washcloths
Oh man, love the term “productivity junkie.” It spoke to me so much!
Snowpine is going to look beautiful with the dark blue sleeves and white color work dots!
Brown pom pom looks nice with hat. I also really like the picture with name of designer when talking about projects, makes things look really nice
Can’t wait to hear what you think of this big snow. I miss getting snowed in and cozying up with my 🧶 ❤️
Heyo friends, I like that cabled hat, the brownish pom looks best I think. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
I'm 100% voting for the Prismatic sweater. I love the colors you selected for both sweaters, but especially the prismatic.

Once again an hour watching you leaving me feel very inspired and cheerful! x
No Pom Pom….it takes away from the beauty of the yarn and the cables.

Brown pom-pom for sure. I'm thinking of making a sea glass. 🙂
Here's an idea for destashing leftovers and such if you aren't worried about getting some money back...split into lots and do a sort of lottery where the recipient pays the shipping cost?
Pink is fun to work on during February because of Valentines!
Go with the brown pompom!!
It's your yarn so you can do whatever you want with it!
I have always loved your podcast (yes, you're my fave) but I am really really loving this new format. Really enjoy hearing a more rounded chat about your interests. Very interested in the perfectionism project too. Thanks for sharing and for being you!
Matching socks with sea glass tee leftovers would be so cute
Love the sea glass tee 😍
I prefer the hat without any pom-poms really!
I very much relate to needing to be productive to feel good. I'm going to check out the perfectionism project. I love your pink colors that you're going to make the cowl out of
A good way to read and knit or crochet is with audiobooks 💜 I got a Libby account and I’ve been flying through books lately
I really like the brown Pom best. I love your scrappy granny blanket and your new logo! Can’t wait to check out some merch!
I will gladly Be the recipient of all of you or or at least some of your leftover Yarn 🧶
What a great podcast! You are so organized and ambitious. I’m working on it using your ideas. Thank you.

Hello from Mounds Illinois.
i love your pink hat- so pretty. i would love your bag of mini leftovers. i am struggling with socks and have been practicing in pieces to get the right tensions, needles, and fit.
Hi Natalie, I would pick the bobble with the white in it and the prismatic sweater. Looking forward to seeing what you do!
I just finished reading Into the Water! I would agree it's a bit of slow build up. I really enjoyed the last third or so. I just started another Paula Hawkins book called Slow Fire Burning and it's quite interesting right from the beginning! But also a bit dark. Happy knitting and reading :)
Your hat is adorbs. I think I like the brown pom pom best.
I love your hat! I think it looks best with the brown pom.
Love your projects. I like the brown pom Pom.💕💕💕

Brown/tan pom!! :)
I would do the Prismatic sweater first. :D
Hey, Nat…check out the Sea glass sweater for using up your scraps. It looks like fair isle knitting when done.
I love the balls of pink. I think you could use the pink balls with gray balls and make a blanket.
Natalie! Your seaglass tee is so beautiful!!

Love your cabled hat and do like the brown pompom.
I left a comment on your previous podcast explaining what “Wol met Verve” means ☺️
Hi from the Netherlands!
The brown Pom Pom , love the hat
Your incredibly organized. I only wish for your skills. Yarn is so hard to deny. Your strength is amazing!
I like the brown Pom for your hat.
Love the brown pom with the hat!
Congrats to the giveaway winner. 😄
I love the white pom pom! Your hat is awesome!💖

Really love the brown pompom ☺️
I like the brown Pom Pom for your cable hat😍
You absolutely have to make the cowl and hat out of your pinks AND WEAR IT WITH THE SWEATER
Love the brown Pom Pom. So pretty.
Just from watching the video I’d vote for the prismatic sweater! Those colors look great together and you seem most excited about it 🙂
Wow! That sea glass tee is stunning!!! Congrats to the winner! I can’t wait to see how you progress through your destash
The sweater you have on is really cute. I like to use scraps for small blankets for the animal shelter.
We are also watching Hawkeye and really like it
Brown for sure. 😍
Love the sweetheart socks!
The hat and Tee are beautiful
I like the darker pom pom.
Love the hat and the wool.... it looks much better without the pom pom....

You do you and don't worry about other people think ,if this makes you feel good then by all means do it I'll give you a high five 😉
The tee looks lovely!! I totally understand the “getting ahead and burning out” on a project thing. I want to try to not do this as well
Hello Nathaly the brown is wonderful

Hey Natalie! I love the brown Pom Pom.
Have you seen and considered doing the see glass sweater (DK) for using up scraps? :D You could hold fingering double and make a awsome sweater :D
We had date to roll at the Indian restaurant today. Yummy! Love the cable hat!! The scrap blanket is great, I didn’t know you had one of those. 🧶💕🧶
I like the Prismatic yarn and sweater.
That would be awesome to do the cowl and hat set with your left over pink yarn!! So exciting to use up those pretty yarns!! Maybe a Christmas present for December! Got to plan ahead. lol
Hi Nat!! I love the pink hat and would put the brown pom on it. Love the sweetheart sock! I gotta learn how to make socks!
