I mostly knit socks and have done hundreds of pairs so have a lot of little balls of leftover yarn. I have been doing patchwork socks, just picking colors that go together. Sometimes I do two 'matching' patchwork socks but not always.
I've started buying mini skeins because they are so cute and come in a myriad of colors. Try the Speltas pattern on Ravelry to replace the Kuschelig pattern that is no longer available. They are both very similar in style.

Helen S. and Ambah O. are the best for minis! I now have several of their patterns… I forgot about Stephen West… (how in the world…???…) he’s all about the minis/scraps! I used to put my favorites (of his) into my queue. Not any more. Because 9 out of 10 patterns I “just HAVE to make”… I was ogling over a half circle, garter st, marled shawl (called “Melting Marled Shawl”)… or, a shlanket…
I’m amazed at the number of Very Cool Shawls he publishes.
Oh. Regarding your queue…I’ve a whole lot more patterns in my queue. Don’t ask. Very embarrassing. I’m not ashamed, but I really am uncomfortable announcing that (..ahem..) number….publicly…to the world. 😂😂
