    My power wire (2015 MN) was in the same place but it was Red & Black.
    You can tap into the light wire in the lower dash panel just above the power socket/Cigarette lighter for illumination. It only works when you switch on the lights.
    There are a couple of good earth points, one is the fuse rack bolt on the left side of the fuse rack & there is another just below the right hand pillar & behind the kick pannel (it's the easiest- just a 10mil bolt.

    Thanks for sharing, I was just looking to add that same (Nissan) SAAS pillar pod to my car so very helpful to see how it looks. Also, I was wondering where I was going to get into the ign wire - remove shroud and go from switch! Cheers mate.

    Only thing is the elec tape round the heatshrink 😂 but everyone does things differently, you could’ve gone a bigger piece of shrink around all the connections you soldered up and covered for neatness

    Is this a TD Triton? When getting boost gauge for a diesel does it have to be a certain one?

    • @4x4CampingandAdventures
      @4x4CampingandAdventures  6 років тому

      It is a turbo diesel mate you don't need anything specific just one with out a vacuum you just want a straight boost gauge.

    would this gauge work well on a D4D 3.0L Toyota Hilux?

    hey mate, I fitted the same saas boost gauge today. It only is reading 5 psi at 2000rpm when sitting in the garage. would there be any difference if I was to actually drive the car? it just doesn’t seem right to me. the reason why i’m asking would the reading be different is because I can’t test drive the car at the moment as it’s in bits and I need to put half the car back together haha!

    • @4x4CampingandAdventures

    How come the boost needle appears really jumpy? Is it that bad in real life or does the video just make it look that way? Cheers

    • @4x4CampingandAdventures
      @4x4CampingandAdventures  6 років тому

      Might be the video mate it's normally pretty smooth but it does spoke to 25 then regulates to 18psi

    • @alc7505
      @alc7505 6 років тому

      4x4 Camping and Adventures have you got a big turbo?? 25psi seems incredibly high for standard turbo or is that norma on Tritons? Good video btw 👍

    • @4x4CampingandAdventures
      @4x4CampingandAdventures  6 років тому

      It's the normal on tritons to spike like that the wastegate brings it back to 18psi which is max psi from factory
