- Today I installed a set of FMS 550cc fuel injectors that are a direct fitment to the oem fuel rail on the IS300. I also made a base fuel map on the AEM FIC6 piggyback ecu. Hey. So are you running withe the stock MAF? I notice you’re tuning in the map load map. Did you hook up a boost reference line from the intake into the onboard MAP in the FIC?
Yes. I have a MAF clamp used in the AEM FIC because occasionally it would throw a MAF out of range code on boost spikes. I'm using the internal map sensor in the piggyback for tuning.
@@VegasAlex702 does that internal map sensor require you to hook something up to it so it can get a reading? Where does it get its reading from?
@@Knownworldwide I have it hooked to the intake manifold. I ran a vacuum hose through the firewall grommet by the clutch master cylinder area.
