@@sym6oI the turbo that came with my kit took a shit on me on the first pull so I bought a borgwarner sx300sxe and I’m waiting on exhaust and intake modifications before I can go to tuning again

Did you have to buy any extra couplers or anything for the intercooler piping. I bought a kit for 2jz ge and I’m hoping it will all fit I had to clock my turbo the same way yours is in the video so it can bolt on correctly. If I clock it downwards like other people usually do my turbo hits the manifold and won’t sit properly and won’t bolt down please help

Stock internals, BC cams and cam gears. Have not dynoed it still. But 2 years it’s still running strong. Fun weekend car
Where did you get your wastegate spring And lines ?And how did you cap off the air assist to the fuel?
I wanna run boost by the Wastegate because i don’t have stock ecu for now
Just a question here . When drilling the oil pan for the return , how do you make sure no metal fragments are left in the pan after drilling a pan while still on the car ?
Great question! This is something we thought about for a while as well. While drilling, we blew the shavings away while it was still drilling. Once it penetrates through, yes there will be some shavings.
Once the fitting is installed we put on the drain hose to the fitting like normal. Then put a funnel on the hose and ran about 5 quarts of bulk oil through it to flush it haha

@@davidg.9446 I would assume dropping the oil pan and then tapping it and cleaning it would be the best way to prevent any metal shavings from getting into the engine.

Awesome! I’m in northern va but have been wanting to do a nice street na-t setup. Low to mid 300s. I have factory 5 speed so w55 trans. Hence why I’m not looking for anything crazy.
What trans was this sportcross running? How much power did it end up making? Looking forward to future videos
He is running the 5spd manual from a sedan and a lsd diff swap as well. Have not dynoed it yet but I’d say close to 300 to the wheels

I’ll try to get a video of that for you sometime soon, been extremely busy. The piping routes very tightly, it was tough to get it all hooked up!

@@After7Garage I have other things I should buy first anyway (for context, I do have a cold air intake, but it's not the best and one of the vacuum line bungs is the wrong size so I have a big vacuum leak)...I should really just get an adapter instead of a $500 intake.
I did my research and didn’t find a link to this turbo kit except this one really sketchy link please send the link if you still have it.
I don’t think it’s available any more. All budget kits will be sketchy and require a lot of work to make it right. We spent a lot of time off camera making the piping work, didn’t have enough in the kit.
How long ago did you order your kit? I was looking to order one and it looks like they dont use the intercooler that clears the crash bar anymore

Turbo kit comes with a universal intercooler, gotta get the kit in the link to get the intercooler that clears the crash bar. Definitely worth a call to them to see if they can modify the kit to make it come with only what you want.
@@willtyson9338 awesome ya I emailed him and ended up paying 1650 for the kit that included the piping Im hoping that for the extra its not the universal intercooler im going to message him and double check he said itd take 6-7 business days im not holding my breath on that but it is what he said lol
@@mikesmods Sounds about right. Be prepared, tracking numbers aren't great and it definitely takes the stated business days and then some. That's the one thing that kind of irked me, not getting things super quickly. I'm not known for my patience though lol
How did the car run with the emanage ?
The car runs very well for a piggy back ecu setup. The software takes a bit of a learning curve to figure out but all you need is a laptop and some time/knowledge. The biggest thing was finding a basemap and getting the ignition timing worked out.
Did you buy this kit off the XS website or Amazon?
I believe he bought the kit from XS website. He got shipped a turbo that was bigger than ordered, but we made it work!
