This is my last and best run of the day on skis. I switched to my snowboard after this. Conditions at Lee Canyon on 4/23/23 were incredible for being so late in the season. I will definitely try skiing again, but I definitely felt more comfortable on a snowboard. Top speed on skis was 34mph for the day in the 5 runs I did. I would've definitely preferred to have a run or two down the bunny hill...

I had some time this weekend and I setup the Dezod AEM v2 standalone that has been in a box since before the pandemic. I wired up a p1300 simulator to avoid misfire codes (details on my.is site). Thanks to @is_marcos_300 for taking and sending this video to me. I still have a lot to learn on how to slide this car in the wet without spinning out, but I had a blast at this round of Vegasdrift. the car did great and there were no hiccups at all from the transmission or clutch or engine.

I pulled this information from my.is and I've tested this on my unit here. This is for the people who want to retrofit a tablet or digital dash to sit in the navigation housing and still have it power fold up and down. Note that this unit has the two connectors in it. I have seen another unit with only one connector and the wiring will be different for that.

Hello, seems like you are extremely responsive to comments! So I thought I would ask if you could elaborate on a comment you made down below about needing to adjust hex screws on both sides to make the ecu happy. What exactly did you do? Unwind and wind in until what? The idle dropped? You adjusted both sides in and out and reset the codes and then checked again? Plan to do this on my 110 soon. Thank you in advance!

@@rbxviperyt9454 cx turbo kit and stock ecu. Fuel return and fuel pressure turned up. That's all you need.

started in Toyota dealership in 79, I use the plyers get the cup down a bit then slide in a polished large flathead screw driver between the cam and cup carefully to with ease move the cup into position to install the tool to hold open the valve. I dont use the slot for the tool use just the edge of the cup and use the slot to first clean with brakleen then compressed air to get the disk to pop out along with probes and magnet, there are 17 different shims you can get for about 15 bucks each also there is a chart that you can download to select correct ones>>>This is the BEST VIDEO I have Seen to Date on this subject...GOOD JOB DUDE on the Video!!!! keep posting :)

Definitely that cause of extra valvetrain noise. Worth checking them with a quality set of feeler gauges so you know where they are set.
What did you do with the stock O2 sensors??? Help I’m stuck
You can either merge bank 1 to bank 2 and place that in the downpipe, or install o2 bungs on the turbo manifold in cylinder 1 and 5 runners and run it like stock.
Can you explain a lil more?? Do you merge the harness connector of the o2 together & use 1 o2 but tricks ecu to think it’s using both o2 but it’s really only using one?!?! Or do you merge 2 o2 sensors to one harness connector Please help

Thanks. I'll have an update video made at some point soon. The car has had a major transformation in the engine bay.
Why would you do this instead of removing the cams after writing measurements for each lifter? It seems like a lot of tedious work for each valve you have to adjust this way.
This approach is mainly for replacing a few shims. If all of them need to be done, sure, it makes sense to remove the cams. The idea with this approach is that it can be done without removing anything but the valve covers.
@@VegasAlex702 I see. So you'd probably measure all of them first and then determine whether the cams are coming out or not.
@kr4dh4x0r easy to check them with a feeler gauge for the smallest and largest feeler that'll fit into each valve and then you'll be able to determine how many are out of spec. The shims on the ends of the cams can be really difficult to get out with the cams in, but it's doable.

Hey Vegas, i gotta say... I managed to do it... I got this kit to work and I WAS IN LOVE. Sucks i got everything working. adjusted tps and the hex screw etc and a few days later ... Got into a wreck. Totalled car. :( was fun while it lasted tho. I've probably watched your video literally over 10 tens and I did this job within 30 mins. People who aren't familiar definitely will take a bit on this kit but its worth it. Cant wait to see more people running it.
did you use the throttle lock with it?
Is this all I need for the throttle lock set up or will I also need the black piece from xcessive lock too. Also will this allow me to delete the big black box next to the throttle body sensor.

Hey boss, for the evap solenoid you mention around the 0:50 second mark - can I literally just detach this from the factory airbox, plug in the sensor and run a vacuum line?
Are you able to run a throttle convert kit on a stock ecu, I've gone boosted stock ecu but I reckon that the throttle convert kit might be too much
what were the size of the OEM shims? i get that every shim is different for everyone, blah blah. ive heard 2.8 on average. not worried to get measurements down to the nanometer, but just within spec. i dropped 264's in and exhaust side needed nothing. intake is .01 too tight or more. could only check 2 lobes

Almost 200k miles. I did a compression test and all cylinders were even at 185psi.
